Part 47 - Yes

You smiled at Wild as he opened the door to the limo, which was waiting for you outside like usual. You fiddled with your seatbelt as Wild entered the limo on his side. The sound of a mechanical whirl filled the cab, and movement caught your eye up front.

"Looks like we're low on gas. Guess they forgot the refill last night." The limo driver announced as the panel separating the front of the car opened. "We're going to have to stop at the gas station, but it shouldn't throw us off of schedule." You and Wild both nodded, and the panel returned closed as the limo began to move.

"So," you said, grinning playfully, "I'm excited to see what line of work you're in."

"I'm surprised you don't know already." Wild said in a monotone voice, raising an eyebrow.

"Well I didn't wanna assume anything," You roll your eyes backwards thoughtfully. "-but you seem like a desk job kinda guy." You nodded, fortifying your guess. He let out a tiny scoff.

"Not my style." Wild responded, his lips ever so slightly curling into a smile.

"That's a shame," You respond, smirking. "I bet you'd look good in a suit." Wild shot you a quick glance, and you could tell you had achieved your goal at catching him off guard.

"It's funny you think so." He retorts after returning to his normal monotone expression.

"And why, exactly, is that funny?" You raise an eyebrow, but the limo comes to a halt before Wild has time to answer. You look out the window and immediately recognize the familiar orange, purple and red of the UHF sign above you. (United Hyrule Farmers).

"Oh man, UHF has the best ice cream!" You exclaimed. "I used to come here all the time with my best friend to get a (favorite ice cream) shake!"

"Why don't we go in then? I'm not familiar with the location." Wild suggested, smiling at your obvious excitement. You continued to smile, but not because you were getting UHF ice cream. You can't help but find Wild's willingness to please you cute.

"You've got to try the ice cream then." You unbuckle your seatbelt and exit the vehicle, as does Wild. He lets the driver know you'll be back soon, and closes the limo door behind him.

"You haven't even eaten breakfast (Y/N)." Wild reminds you. You dawn your best attempt at puppy eyes, and plead. Wild's eyes narrow before sighing. "Ok, fine." Your smile returns, and you turn around and drag Wild by the hand to the front door. "But I'm going to buy you some real food too." He adds on as you enter the station.

"Okay, okay." You guide him over to the icecream line, and look up at the flavors.

"I'm going to get a cone. What about you?" You glance at Wild, who is analyzing the menu with narrowed eyes.

"Hmm..." His eyes glance across the menu. "I'll have a cherry cordial in a cup." He responded. The man behind the counter finally walks over, not taking his eyes off of the ice cream scoop in his hand.

"What can I get ya?" He asks in a bored tone.

"Can we get a cone of (favorite icecream) and a cup of cherry cordial?" You reply to the man. Wild walks towards the rest of the merchandise, probably looking for some breakfast to buy you.

"Will that be all?" The man asks.

"Mhm." You respond with a nod. He begins to prepare your orders, and you watch as he dips his scoop into the ice cream cartons, adding each scoop into a cup filled with milkshake ingredients. You turn and walk over Wild, who is standing in front of a case of donuts.

"Look appealing?" Wild gestures to the case.

"That one does." You point to a scrumptious looking (favorite donut) behind the glass, and Wild retrieves it for you. Your stomach growls with hunger as you realize how empty it is. You walk back over to the ice cream counter, where the man is now blending all the milkshake ingredients together. Wild walks behind you, and seems to examine a display of magazines. You skip towards him, attempting to glance over his shoulder. Even on your tiptoes, he's slightly too tall for your eyes to clear his back.
