Part 60 - Libra

"I'm a Libra." You replied.

"Oh, that means that's your ruling planet too." Majora smiled. "Those two are a pretty good match, according to Professor Shikashi. Here's an idea," He angled his body towards you. "Give me your hand, and I'll read your palm." A mischievous smirk crept across his lips. Your eyebrows furrow.

"You really believe in that?" You inquire with suspicion.

"Give it to me." He demanded, ignoring your question. Timidly, you stretch out your left hand, raising it in front of his chest. Majora moved an inch closer, lowering his gaze to your hand. He raised his own palm above yours, and began to trace the lines of your palm with his finger, sending a shiver up your entire arm. "Oh wow," He whispered intently. "-this is very interesting."

"Really?" You respond intrigued.

"Mhm" He returns, nodding.

"What does it say?"

"Shush. I don't know yet. Just sit still." He placed another finger on your palm, and then another, until all five fingers were brushing over yours. You furrow your brows with uncertainty, beginning to doubt Majora's theatrics.

"I don't think this is how you're supposed to read a palm." You deadpan. "Do you know what you're doing?"

"You bet I do. Bam!" He declared loudly, making you jump. His fingers suddenly wrapped around yours, and he grabbed your hand tightly. He laughed mischievously, clearly pleased with the outcome of his stunt. "So gullible, (Y/N)." He said matter of factly while inching towards you on the bench.

"You could've just asked." You relaxed your body against his. "I still can't believe you made this whole planetarium. You are full of surprises."

"Well in the Soldiery I had already spent some time working on battle machinery. Engineering a system to manipulate the power of that little artifact wasn't too far out of my comfort zone."

"Don't sell yourself short. It's amazing! No matter how you did it."

"Score. She thinks I'm amazing." He raised his fist and shook it triumphantly.

"Mhm." You laughed softly. "Kind of nerdy though. Don't you think so?"

"Oh shut up." Majora sneered, nudging you with his elbow. "Now the moment is ruined." You nudged him back with your own elbow. A comfortable silence fell between both of you, beginning to feel as though the shooting stars were hypnotizing you. Your eyelids slowly became heavier and heavier as you sat there. Majora's voice made you jolt.

"Don't fall asleep on me, (Y/N). We should be heading out, alright?" He whispered delicately, his thumb sweeping across the back of your hand. He stood from the bench, gripping your hand to help lift you up. You followed Majora back to the pedestal, and he flipped the lever off. The dark void was rescinded, and the observatory was returned to its original form. You rubbed your eyes as you followed him downstairs, cautious not to trip. A shiver went down your spine as you stepped outside into the brisk night air, causing you to wrap your arms around yourself and rubbing your hands over your sleeves to warm up. Majora locked the doors behind you before walking back to the limo then opened the back door for you so you could get in the car. Once Majora was inside, the limo began to drive back to the mansion. You rested your head on the window, still struggling to stay awake.

"Some's up past her bedtime, huh?" Majora laughed. "I didn't mean to keep you up late."

"No, it's ok. I just had a long day." You paused before correcting yourself, "A long couple of days. Sorry."

"Don't apologize." Majora unbuckled his seatbelt, moving towards the middle seat. "That window can't be comfortable." He draped his arm over your shoulder pulling you towards him, and you leaned your body against his. You let out a deep yawn, nestling yourself into his side, sleeping all the way back to the mansion.
