Emopter Four: Can You Go By Yourself?

"Can you go by yourself?"

I roll my eyes and look a pale , tall figure with messy hair leaning on a pole just outside the high school.

Can you go by yourself??

These words are more than words for me. No one has cared this much for . Neither abu nor mom.

Both of them are too busy in their works.
Their favour for me is restricted to finance .
And their care is handing me to either jamshed bhai (our driver) or stella (our maid or babysitter).

Can you go by yourself ?
Care!!.
Affection !!.

"Are you coming with me. Aren't you?" I said trying to hide my blushy cheeks.

He nodded and give me a smirk.

We walk all our way silently. Untill he broke the awkward silent by asking
"So how is it going so far?"

Me and my family had shifted Nearest Town and I had joined his high school ,a month ago.
From My family, I meant me , my bhayya (eldest brother) and affo(my elder brother)

"Good, a bit hectic". I answered him looking straight to the street.

"Ahaan!". He said

Again that awkward silent make a place between us.

But

I wish time could freeze here.
Me
Him
Silence

Actually
I was walking slow so that the way to home become farther. And wishing For time to be froze here.

But there isn't any well or any fairygod mother who'll fulfill my wish.
I was just wondering. ..
And
He stopped for a moment and look back.

Straight into my eyes.

"Are you ill? Or does your feet hurt?"

"No. I m fine!-"
I responded and trying to look up but my shyness dominated over my boldness and I only look upto his blue shirt and stick my eyes on the stones on the floor again.

"Or you have been in that rabbit and turtle race and you are that sluggish turtle!" He grins before letting me complete.

It was the same story our aunt used to tell us both when we were little.

I smiled and said "ahh.. no"
Just then a mice ran over his feet and he shouted like an crazy typical girl.

"Wooaaahh!!"

Although he can fought against any big monster but these mouse family always haunted him.

"Hhahha.. you haven't changed yet!"
I grin as picking up the mice and putting it on a bench.

"Ahhh... I can fight against a dinosaur. But these nasty one are too
scary"

"You are saying this because dinosaur dont exist"

"Naah!! I can fight against a lion too-"

" And then you will end up being lion's dinner. Hhaha"
I said before he completes and he grin again.

In the mean time I manage to over come my shyness & look his handsome figure .
Tall .
Thin.
Big green eyes.
His messy hair.

That night I was having dinner alone as always.
Bhayya wasnt there as he had left for Switzerland last month, before we had shifted.

Affo was busy doing his office work.
I figure it out when I saw his room's light on.
Parents!!
Huhh..
Busy on their work.
Making money .

Stella had made pizza along with fruit salad and lasagna.

I was eating silently thinking about them.

High school.
Tuition.

One handful spoon of pasta in my mouth.

Brown eyes.
Green eyes.

Another spoon of pasta

Hair well setted with gel.
Messy brown hair without gel.

Another spoon.

His perfect smile.
His perfect sarcasm.

BEEP BEEP!!
My thoughts were interrupted by a text .
I put the empty bowl and started walking towards my room HAVING cell phone in one hand and watEr bottle in other hand.

It was him.

"Awake?? I wanna talk to you now."

Just as I read this .
A picture of His green eyes comes to mind and I was lost.

Heading towards my bed.

I was awakened bestly by my closet's foot.

"Ouch!!"

As usual.. I hit my toe by the closet's foot.
It happened everytime I entered in my room.
Just as that closet's foot was waiting to hit me so hard!!

"Yup, but cant talk now. Too sleepy"
I replied back with a smiley emoji.
:). And went to bed.

Trying to ignore him

I woke up a bit late as I heard Stella's shouting.

Door opened.

"Heyy sleepy head!" Affo said.

"Don't called me that" I screamed scratching my eyes.

" sleepy head! Sleepy head" affoo started teasing me.
I picked the pillow and throw it over him.

"Huhhh afoo plzz" I asked him to leave , pointing my finger out of the room.

He shouted "sleepy head " and went out .

That morning was the finest morning because something happened that day which took away my sleep for weeks.

Not more a sleepy head.
Affo I cursed you...
