Chapter 9: friends

As we walked into the dinner pavilion, I went to sit down with the people who still haven't been claimed but Nico asked me to come sit with him, I walked over to his table (The Hades table). We sat next to each other and got a sandwich, I saw Will sitting at his table (The Apollo table) he sat in between a girl and a boy, he saw us a look of thought on his face. There was this dude who would every so often look at me and smileI looked away from him and looked at Nico.

" So Darlene you would say were friends?" Nico asked me.

"Yeah," I replied speaking the truth I thought we were friends.

" If I told you a secret would you tell anybody?" A secret? I love secrets!

" No I would tell no one at all!" I quietly yelled at him.

" Okay, Okay I'm only telling you because I need to tell someone, and you are litterly one of the only person I can trust not to tell anyone. I have a crush on Will," He said and I started smiling uncontrollably.

" Just saying I'm cool with you being gay, I support you all the way. But why did you need to tell somebody?" I asked because people who go to my school only tell their best friends, and sometime only if they give them valuable information (Like who others liked).

" Because, having secrets that only you know are quite painful and having at least one caring person makes it easier. For example I used to like Percy Jackson, when Jason found out he was the only person I could talk to about it, and it helped I guess." He explained, the thing was I knew exactly what he meant. There was a dude I used to like at my school that I go to, and I kept it to myself for a full month.

" I know how you feel" I gave him a hug, he surprisingly hugged me back. I could tell lunch was almost over because people were leaving going and doing stuff there were still people left including, Nico, Will, and I . I had finished my sandwich, where as Nico took one small bite. Will slowly walked over to Nico and looked at his sandwich. At this point we were the only ones there.

" Dude you need to eat that" He pointed at the sandwich " Nico you're not leaving till it's gone." Nico rolled his eyes and stood up. I pushed his shoulder down.

" Nico Di Angelo for Hades sake eat your sandwich!" I complained nothing happened " Will he's not afraid of me, this is all up to you know I believe in you..... Maybe," I finished and stood there. Will told Nico something about the infirmary and he started eating his sandwich again. He only ended up eating half of it because he ' accidentally' dropped the rest on the ground. I thought it was quite funny, I did my best not to laugh. Only for the fact that Will would probably yell at me for encouraging bad behaviour.

I quietly left as the two of them argued something that probably didn't matter anyway, but they were cute together. I walked peacefully through the camp not knowing what I was suppose to be doing. I was going on with my day when some dude jumped in front of me nearly giving me a heart attack. I realized it was the dude who was looking at me during lunch.

" Who are you and what do you want?" I questioned him. The boy stood there his awesome brown hair looked very good on him, his brown eyes were absolutely fabulous, He wore a Camp Half-blood shirt, jeans, and running shoes.

" I'm Xavier Gaskin son of Hephaestus, I just wanted to see if you wanted to be my friend? You don't really seem like you have a lot and I don't really have a lot of friends either and I probably sound like a complete idiot." he said I couldn't help but laugh. He smiled, "So wanna be friends?"

" Sure why not," I replied and we walked somewhere, I have no clue where so I pray to Hades that he wasn't bringing me to my death.

A/N: Yaayyyyayayayayayyaa I did it I wrote stuff yayayay Xavier is the last main caracter that gets a poit of view probaly I suck but its all good the story will work out and rainbows and alpacas.
