Chapter 16: The babysitters

Explaining why I did what I did to a doctor is not fun... At all, as Xavier got to go eat food and live I had to talk. I always love to talk but I was hungry, I looked at the clock I had latterly 2 minutes till lunch was over.

"Dude please let me get food!" I complained and into my pillow that was on my face.

" Allyson gonna get you food" he replied.

" But I'm hungry now." I complained again.

" You can wait a little longer"

" But.. Please.. Will!.. You're not being nice!" I complained into my pillow.

" Darlene, we need to keep you an Xavier apart for now while he eats, so he actually gets food in him." He paused " He hasn't eaten in 2 days, so now that he's eating we need to make sure he eats enough" I didn't say anything, I couldn't say anything, I couldn't think of anything to say. I looked at the clock lunch was over, I got up and tried to walk outside and go and do something productive with life. Will grabbed my shoulder.

" Very funny you aren't going anywhere" He pulled me back to the bed. As soon as I sat down Nico came running through the door of the room and right into Will's arms, I smiled and made a heart shape with my hand. Will seeing this kissed the small Italian on the lips making him blush like a cherry tomato.

" Will we need to talk it's about the two of them " Saying the last three words all secretly like they were planning something.

" A-Allyson come here!" she walked in a confused look on her face, " can you stay here with Darlene just while we go talk, it's really important... Please." He gave her the puppy dog face.

" Fine." They go to leave but me complaining stopped Will.

" I'm hungry he said you would have food.. This is not okay Will lied to me." I complained leaning off the bed.

" Darlene, don't give her a hard time" he said.

" But.. But I'm hungry" I laid back down covering herself up with the blanket with the pillow on top of my head. Allyson sat down and looked at me, when I figured they were a safe distance I shot up. " Allyson I'm going to follow them you're gonna stay here and pretend I'm here I will be back, maybe" I said and walked face first into the door. She laughed.

" No your not" She replied dragging me away from the door.

" Allyson you need to trust me I think Xavier might have done something, please!" I complained trying to win. after a ton of convincing she finally let me go I ran to my cabin the door locked, I listened to what was going on.

" I'll do Ancient Greek with her in the morning with her, we'll do it here I guess" Annabeth said , ( I have figured out who a ton of people are).

" I'll do Battle training with her" Percy volunteered. The she was me and this meant they were planning who was gonna be babysitting me. I was 13 I was in no need of babysitters I was no 5 year old... Maybe at heart but that doesn't count.

" I'll do the free time before curfew " Nico spoke up " If she runs or something I can shadow travel and stop her" He justified his choice.

" No shadow traveling!" Will shouted they all laughed, it was hard to stop myself from laughing. But I did it, with me holding me breath and tried my best. " I'll do meals she'll eat in the infirmary with me I'll get All- " He was cut off.

"Wait why is she not eating in the pavilion!? Am I not going to be allowed to see her!?" Xavier asked frustrated.

" Wait dude, okay my turn I'll do her other free time " Someone I didn't know announced.

" I'll do Greek Mythology" Jason said.

" Pass her schedule" Piper said " I'll do Arts and Crafts!" She said excitedly.

" Guess I do what ever the hell you do for the Competition... " The girl paused "That's what it says, Competition it dose no specify" She finished.

" What do I get!? Am I just not suppose to be able to see her till 10pm!"He got campfire. He was clearly mad but no one yelled or fought with him. I heard people start to get up, I jumped up and sprinted back to the infirmary where Allyson waited for me.

" Finally you're back" She said dragging me back to the room, I sat down and laid down and pretended to sleep. Will and Nico walked in with a piece of paper.

" Give this to her when she wakes up" he said and like that left as soon as the door closed I sat up.

" Hand it here please" I said and put my hand out to take the page, it was my schedule. I

read it over, and quickly wrote the names of the people who were babysitting me during each. So I could properly avoid them.
