Opposites attract

Chapter 24- I've returned

Nico's Pov

Once we made it to New York, everyone was tired and ready to go to bed. Well expect Darlene she slept for the last 5 hours of the drive and was still passed out. We all went back to camp, expect Percy and Darlene. Percy wanted to show his mom and Paul his sister. So when got back to camp I went straight to my cabin to find no other than Will sitting on my bed crying into my pillow. But as I opened the door his head shot up and before I knew it I was being hugged by Will. He was still crying, but more of a happy kinda relief cry. I hugged back after a minute he pulled away.

" I thought I lost you." He said looking at me with his beautiful blue eyes.. 

" Well I had hope." I laughed causing him to laugh.

" Really? Because what I heard was something kidnapped you and all that fun stuff."

" Yah, just a little." 

" So what happened?"

" We got kidnapped and I think they were going for children of the big three. There was Hazel, Thalia, Darlene, and me. All they needed was Percy and Jason but by the time they got there we already had something going. It was pretty awesome."

" And what was said plan?"

" Not really sure. Darlene started yelling mean things to the things, then told us to get out and lock the door, we did then water started coming out from under the door. After a couple of minutes she came out drenched in water." He gave me this look like he wanted to ask me something but was to scared to actually ask. " If you want to ask me something, just ask" He sighed.

" I'm not trying to sound rude but why did you go with her? I bet she would have been fine with Xavier." I thought about what we had talked about before she had left.

Flashback just saying

Once lunch was done I started walking to the campfire to meet Darlene, she had her bag and looked really sad." So where are we going?" I asked once I got there

" I just need you to get me somewhere with a phone and I need To know where we are so my mom can come pick me up." she replied. Wait she wanted to go home?

" Wait, I thought you needed to grab some stuff?"

" Yep and I've changed my mind, I want to go home." I gave her a sad look.

" People would miss you."

" Okay sure." She didn't belive me.

" And I would miss you, and Percy would be devastated to lose his sister..."

" Kay well I doubt that. Everybody would be over joyed if I just left. At this point I am one of the most hated people here, I was mean to everybody and I was being a complete and total jerk." I could see tears forming in her eyes.

" If you stay, I promise on the river Styx that I will prove that we don't hate you. Okay?" She seemed to consider it.

" Fine but I still need to go and do something really quick."

" Okay then let us go." And with that we left.

End of Flashback just saying

Will was still looking at me waiting for an answer.  I sat down on my bed, him following suit. 

" She wanted to leave, go home, for good like never coming back. I told her people would miss her, and Percy would be devastated, but she didn't belive me. She went on about how everybody hated her, and that we would all be over joyed if she left. I promised her if she didn't leave I would prove nobody hated her, she agreed but I wanted to make sure she actually came back." I said quietly my mood switching from happy to kind of sad.

" Oh, so where is she now?"

" Percy took her to meet Sally and Paul.  They'll be back tomorrow at lunch." I said quietly, and with that we fell asleep in eachothers arms on my magnificent bed.

Its a little short but Its cool so ya. Sorry for not updating Ive had a ton of work and projects and now Im on the basketball team and Im camping this weekend, so byee!
