Len kept his promise, and stood by Rin's side 24/7. And he kept his other promise that he thought at first was a maybe. He married her. They both got jobs and lived a happy life together in a home. Neither of them were ever hurt again. And not even death could separate the two.
But at their death, Len was the first to die at a very old age. Rin soon died with him from aging. But no one knows. Maybe they stayed with each other in heaven. Their souls never parted.
As for the rest of them....Meiko convinced the lower grades to continue the Dandere Girl and Boy tradition by dropping off flowers on the king and queen of each prom. This tradition happens once a year at their high school. They passed it on for generations and generations of at school.
