A year and a couple months later, the day the marriage had occurred. Emil said his rehearsed vows perfectly as he stared at Leon, frightened when Yao had blessed them and stepped close to the foreigner. Emil still had nightmares about how he was nearly rapped and was frightened for his life when Yao finished the blessing and gave him a gentle smile before returning to his place.
Soon enough, it was time for the two to share a kiss. Emil leaned in, smiling gently as Leon had a full blown smile as he captured Emil's lips for his own. They were now joined, bright bands glistening on their fingers as their lips we sweetly pressed together, for like a perfect puzzle piece.
