"Just trust me on this one, okay?" I press my palms against Kira's shoulder and look into her eyes

"Alright" she sighs 

"All you have to do is walk over there and sit next to him" I point to Calum sitting down with Mike at the patio "You're already the kindest chick I've met you just have to let him know you're into him" I pat her shoulder and smile

She nods and walks towards them. She takes a seat next to Cal and smiles, he smiles back bumping his shoulder against hers. I don't even realize there's someone next to me.

"So cute, am I right?" I hear a very sweet voice, I glance to see Ashley with her arms crossed over her chest smiling

"Yeah, I hope they end up together" I say with a warm tone. "I'm Liza, by the way" I offer her my hand

"I know that, I'm Ashley" she takes it with a kind smile, I don't like her. I don't trust kind people, beside Kira because I know her heart. Something's telling me Ashley isn't as kind as she seems.

"So since you're back we could trade lockers?" I lick my lips and look to her eyes, she's probably a few inches taller than me "I mean, 6463 is rightfully yours"

"Oh that's okay, it's just a locker" she tugs a piece of her fair hair behind her ear

"No, I insist" I nod "What's written inside is already for you anyways" I look down shrugging my shoulders

"Alright then" she smiles "We can trade it when the classes end" I nod

"Great" I spot Luke walking towards us, Ashley throws her arms over his neck and kiss his cheek but his eyes are on me

"Hi baby" she says pecking his closed lips

"Hey dude" I mutter under my breath "I'll get going, I have to meet the student councilor" 

"Wait, what? Since when?" Luke asks concerned with a frown in his brows 

"Gammy thinks I'm struggling with the divorce and talked to your mom who made sure to schedule my free period to therapy" I fake a smile, I'm far too used anyways. 

"Oh Lord, I'm very sorry for you" Ashley says and touches my arm, I just watch her pale hand with perfect pink nails touch my skin she feels I'm uncomfortable and moves it away

"Thanks, but I'm alright" I put on a half smile on my lips, Ashley seems to buy it but Luke knows me far too well "See you guys around" I turn my wheels and begin to walk until Luke shouts my name

"Hey, Liza!" he touches my arm and my dormant nerves are brought back to life "Just know if you need to talk to someone, I'm here for you. I'll always be"

I look down and bring my defenses up so he doesn't see what I'm really feeling.

"Don't worry, that's the councilor's job" the half smirk is back on and I keep walking but this time he doesn't stops me again.

"Oh, I feel amazing" I smirk "Best idea they ever had was splitting up" my voice sounds happy

"Elizabeth this is a safe zone, you can tell me your true feelings" She leans in and pushes a box o tissue next to me

"My name is Liza" I say harshly "And I'm being truthful, I couldn't be any happier" I slide the box back to the center of the table
