A couple of days later, Madelyn was out with Caroline and Bonnie, to try on their dresses for their Senior Prom.

They had chosen their dresses months ago and today was their last fitting, before the big night.

Caroline and Bonnie walked out from the dressing room, next to hers.

Bonnie was talking about seeing Jeremy in her dreams.

"What kind of dreams?" Madelyn asked curiously, from her dressing room.

"Usually I'm at his grave, and all of a sudden, he appears to me." Bonnie explained.

"Well, you never got to say goodbye, Bon. You're grieving. That's normal." Caroline added.

"When I woke up, the couch was on fire." Bonnie said

"Oh." Caroline and Madelyn said simultaneously.

"I don't know if it's because I was emotional in my dream or if Shane was right.
Without his help, I'll lose control of my magic." Bonnie said worriedly.

"No. It's because you need a night off from mourning.
And I'm gonna make sure that you have it." Caroline said in her usual cheerful tone.

"Um, you look super hot, by the way." Bonnie said to Caroline, smiling happily.

"Do you think?" Caroline asked with a happy smile.

"Oh, yeah." Bonnie said with a smirk before they both chuckled.

"Maddie, come out and show us your dress." Caroline said, almost impatiently.

Madelyn nervously pushed the curtain to the side and stepped out.

"Wow." They both said in awe, as she walked out.

Madelyn smiled nervously while fumbling with the thin fabric of the dress.

"It's not too simple or too showy?" She asked insecurely.

"No, it's perfect." Caroline said excitedly.

"Yeah. You look hot." Bonnie said smiling.

"Who's your date tonight?" She asked.

"I don't have one." Madelyn answered looking down.

"You could go with us." Caroline quickly suggested.

"Yeah, you definitely should." Bonnie added.

"We don't need dates, when we have friends." Caroline said, before pulling Maddie in front of the mirror with her.

"Matt and I are gonna have the sexiest dates there." Bonnie said smiling widely, making Caroline and Maddie laugh.

"You know what? I love friend prom.
And it's exactly what prom should be friends and memories.
Yes, it sucks that my boyfriend can't be here, but the three of us are gonna have the night of our lives." Caroline said in her cheerful tone.

"Hey, Bonnie.
Heard you got your mind wiped.
That sucks.
Pretty dress, Caroline." Elena suddenly said behind them.

"I know. You helped me pick it out months ago when we were friends, before you tried to kill me." Caroline said harshly.
