Calum: "Where are they taking her?" || I had been here less than a day and I already had a bad feeling about this place. I felt a growing pit of nausea in my stomach as I looked around at all of the other people who had been trapped and I couldn't help but wonder how many mazes there actually were. 'Were they all as bad as mine?' The question was running through my mind, one that I desperately wanted an answer to. I looked around the cafeteria, spotting Michael heading over towards me. I was pleased to see him, as was he, and I followed him as he led me over to a table where a group of boys crowded around. Luke and Ashton were there and I was glad that they were ok. My eyes scanned the room, but there was no sign of Y/N. "Where is she?" I whispered over to Luke as one of the guys from the table began talking. He simply shrugged his shoulders, looking around for a few seconds. "I haven't seen her," he told me, panic stirring inside me. "But I'm sure she's fine. She can take care of herself." He added on, patting me on the back firmly as he nodded in reassurance. One of the workers came out and called out the name of around twelve people, each of them seeming relieved to finally head through the double doors which were guarded by two older men. I couldn't help but grow anxious, appearing to be the only one who seemed even the slightest bit concerned. "I wonder what's through there," Ashton spoke up from my other side, looking over hopefully as the last glader walked past. "I don't," I mumbled out, just loud enough for him to hear me. Before he could say anything about my attitude, I abruptly stood up from my seat, catching the attention of the boys at my table. "Cal," Luke called after me, but the sight of Y/N walking past was all of my concern. I hurried over towards the window she was walking past, a few metres behind her - unable to catch up. Before I could move any further, two hands pushed me back, stealing my gaze from Y/N. "Where are they taking her?" I asked the guard, peaking past him to try and see where she was headed. I tried to step forward, but once again they refused to let me past. "Please, I- I just wanna see my friend," I explained to them, feeling a longing in my chest to make sure she was ok. "I'm sure she's fine. Get back to your table," the guard replied, but I couldn't help but worry. I needed to see her.

Dyl was so cute the entire movie, I swear. I've already watched it three times at the cinemas.

Ashton: Winston's death. || Everyone knew what was coming. We could see him getting worse by the day, weaker by the hour - but no one tried to think about it too much. When it got to the point where he collapsed, that's when we knew the truth, that's when we knew Calum was dying. I guess a part of us were just hoping that he would somehow heal and that he would turn out to be immune, but it wasn't long before that hope started to fade away. We stopped walking for an hour or so, taking shelter under the remains of a small building. The heat was exhausting us quicker than we thought and we were beginning to run low on water, but if anything, this only pushed us to continue on. I was talking to Y/N several metres away from the group, looking out across the desert and staring onwards at the mountains in the distance. It was then that we heard the fatal noise of a gunshot, our heads snapping around as we turned and sprinted towards the sound. "What happened?" I hurried the words out, my eyes scanning over everyone to see if anyone got hurt. "W-we were just sitting here, and then Calum reached for the gun," Michael stuttered out, fear glowing in his eyes. "Cal?" I whispered out his name, looking down at him with sorrow filled eyes. "Shoot me," He mumbled out, no sign of fear on his face. "What?" I asked him, stumbling backwards hoping that I misheard him. "Shoot me, please," he begged as he looked down at the open wounds which was spreading to his whole body. "I'm not going to make it," he added on, and even though everyone knew it was the truth, I couldn't help but argue. "Calum, we're not leaving you," I told him, my voice shaky as I stared down at him, my eyes beginning to water. Before anyone else had a chance to speak up, Luke took hold of the gun, prying it from Michael's hands. We watched on silently, me shaking my head as he bent down beside his diseased body heaving on the ground. Luke carefully reached down and took Calum's hand, placing the gun in it before resting it on his chest. Calum smiled up at him, a sad yet grateful look on his features. "Thank you," Calum muttered to him. "Goodbye, Calum." Luke whispered, his voice breaking as he stood up and slowly began to walk away, not even daring to look back. Y/N followed after him, her whimpers begin to shake her body. "Cal-" Michael began, but Calum stopped him. "Michael, it's alright. Go," he told him. "Go," he pushed again, Michael pausing for a few seconds, tears welling up in his eyes as he looked down at one of his best friends. He passed me as he left, but I stayed staring down at Calum, watching him hopelessly as tears ran down his cheeks. "Ash, it's ok," he promised me, but I couldn't help but feel as though it was all my fault. "I- I'm sorry, Calum," I cried, harshly wiping at my eyes before picking up my bag and slowly turning around, following after the group. As I caught up to them, the sound of a gunshot stopped everyone in their tracks. No one turned around as we knew what we would see. And that was the end of Calum.
