My gaze swept across the battlefield, strewn with broken arrows, discarded weapons and dead bodies.

"We will not be able to go anywhere. There is no route starting from here," a man with long, brown billowing hair declared.

Another man with short, tufted hair was on the ground, "This journey was hopeless," he sighed.

The third man was leaning against a tree, battered, "We can only go this far... let's give up," he breathed.

The one female in the group stood up, "There is a way," she said firmly, "Let's believe in it," she encouraged her teammates, "We will surely be able to find it!"

"But... Princess," the first man began.

"Don't give up!" she spun around angrily, her gaze was stunning, one that kept you rooted to the spot.

"Princess..." the man on the ground coughed.

A trill of maniacal laughter wafted through the wind blown battlefield, disrupting their conversation, "Princess Fuun! You scoundrels will not be able to go any further than this!" the faint figure of a man holding a staff stood on the ruins of a stone fortress.

At the sight of this new man, everyone got to their feet to face him, "Mao! You bastard! Don't tell me you were the one who caused this storm!" the third man roared, brandishing his weapon.

The man didn't answer, instead, he laughed and a robotic-looking samurai rose to its feet, out of the dirt. Its sword was raised high in the air, ready to strike them.

"Watch out, Princess Fuun!" an ear-ringing shout sounded next to me.

"Naruto!" Liz hissed.

Princess Fuun dodged the samurai's slash, spinning to the side while she ripped her own blade out of her sheath. She jabbed the air in front of her and a wave of power struck her enemy, blasting him to bits. Before the four-man team could enjoy their victory, they heard numerous clinks of metal against metal. The looked around them to see that all of the dead bodies were rising back up to their feet, they were all samurais from Mao's evil army.

"You should give up!" Mao laughed, spreading his arms powerfully, "And beg for forgiveness, Princess Fuun!" he demanded.

A determined air spiraled around Princess Fuun, "I will never give up! As long as I live, I will turn everything I have into strength, and I will show that I can cut a way open!" she shouted as rainbow coloured chakra seeped out of her body.

"The Princess is..." the man that had started the sentence couldn't finish it.

"The seven-coloured chakra is burning!" another man finished, "Let's go! We shall also burn our chakra!" he declared to his two other teammates.

"Yes!" they agreed.

"Alright!" Mao swung his staff around wildly, raising wind and debris.

He stabbed his staff head into the ground and a stream of destructive chakra raced towards Princess Fuun and her acquaintances. When it collided with Princess Fuun's seven-colour chakra, a big explosion ensued. Mao's minions were blasted away while Princess Fuun was protected, nothing touched her or her team members. Tendrils of rainbow chakra whipped around them as if creating a force field.

"Hah!" Princess Fuun collected chakra into her sword and when she thrust it out again, the attack was immense.

It struck Mao directly and sent him flying into the heavens, a bright flash of light told us that it was the defeat of Mao. Naruto watched in complete entrancement as the storm clouds cleared away and a beautiful rainbow replaced them.
