Piccolo x Reader 'Saiyan Blackmail'

You blushed as you stared at the Namekian that you secretly loved.
Piccolo....
Just hearing his name made you blush.
He was talking to Goku.
You exhaled in frustration.
Why can't Goku just go away?
What were they even talking about anyway?

Goku's POV

"So Piccolo I heard that y/n likes you...." I said cheerfully.
"Hm? Whatever. Love is a weak emotion that I don't want to experience...." Piccolo said gruffly.
"Oh come on Piccolo just give her a chance!" I whined.
"Not a chance..." Piccolo said.
"If you don't I'll tell everyone that you secretly have a yoshi shrine!" I said.
His cheeks turned purple.
"You wouldn't dare...."
"Oh I would!"
"I never thought you were the blackmailing type Goku..."
I crossed my arms.
"I just want my friends to be happy. Now run along she's around here somewhere I can sense her energy."
Piccolo grumbled and flew off.

Your POV
I saw Piccolo fly off to who knows where.
I sighed, and was about to go home when Piccolo landed in front of me.
I jumped back, startled.
"P-Piccolo?" I said.
"Hello y/n..." He said.
He didn't seem very happy about something.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing....I just came over here to ask.....um.....would you like to go on a- what do you earthlings call it? Oh yes, a date with me?" He asked.
I sat there stunned.
My head swam with thoughts; I wasn't able to form a sentence.
"I'm getting impatient..." He said, tapping his foot.
"Y-Y-yes." I finally managed to stutter.
"I'll pick you up at 6." And with that, he flew off.

Narrator
You sat there, trying to comprehend what just happened.
"6?!?!" You said to yourself.
"That's in two hours!"
You quickly ran home and got ready for Piccolo's arrival.

Time skip~

You were all dolled up, sitting around waiting for Piccolo's arrival.
At exactly 6 o'clock he knocked on your door.
You took a deep breath and answered the door.
"You ready?" Piccolo asked.
"Yep....." You said, nervous.
"Good..." He picked you up and flew away.
You blushed. "Where are we going?" You asked.
"You'll see..." He said looking straight ahead.
After about 5 minutes you landed on a lush green hill.
"This is my favorite spot to meditate..." Piccolo said.
You looked around in awe.
"It's beautiful..." You murmured.
Piccolo sat down and stared at the sunset.
You shyly sat down next to him.
Piccolo glanced at you and looked back at the sunset.
You bit your lip and took a deep breath.
"This is my chance..." You thought.
You leaned up and kissed him on the cheek.
His cheek turned a deep purple.
Piccolo looked at you confused.
"Piccolo I have to say that I've always liked you..." You said shyly.
"Um....no one's ever said that to me before..." Piccolo said.
"Maybe love isn't so bad..." He thought.
"You know what? I'll give you a chance y/n. It's just that I'm not very familiar with love..." Piccolo said.
You beamed.
"It's not that hard Piccolo. If Vegeta can get a wife, so can you!" You said cheerfully.
Piccolo chuckled.
"I guess that's true." He said.
You smiled and hugged him.
Piccolo blushed and hesitantly hugged back.
You were sure happy that you had Piccolo all to yourself~
