Piccolo x Child! Reader 'Soft Side'

"Mr Pic!" You sang happily, "Come play with me!"

You tugged on his white cape while he was meditating.

Piccolo cracked open his eyes and glared down at you.

"I will not play with you, child." He said gruffly.

You giggled and played with his cape.

"You're a big meanie! But you're also a big silly meanie!"

Piccolo crossed his arms and sighed, knowing you wouldn't leave him alone.

"Alright, fine!" He snapped.

"Yay!!!!" You cheered loudly.

"Let's go!"

You took his hand in yours and ran off, dragging the Namekian along with you.

You took him to a field full of pretty blue flowers.

"First we're gonna play tag!" You declared.

"And you're it Mr Pic!"

You poked Piccolo's leg and ran off into the field giggling.

Piccolo sighed and walked after you.

He picked you up, but your feet kept pumping as if you were running.

"I got you, child." He said.

You looked back at him and noticed you were now above the ground.

"Aw man now I'm it! Put me down Mr Pic!" You whined.

Piccolo set you down and flew up into the air.

"Hey! You're cheating!" You yelled up at him.

"I don't believe I am. Now come get me." Piccolo responded and shut his eyes.

You crossed your arms and pouted.

After a couple of minutes your eyes brightened.

You had an idea.

You found a nearby tree that was close to Piccolo.

You climbed up it and inched your way out towards him on a thin branch.

"Mr Pic I got you!" You said happily.

Crack!

The branch gave way and you were sent tumbling to the ground.

Piccolo's eyes snapped open when he heard your body make a thud onto the ground.

"Y/n!" He shouted in panic and ascended down to the ground where you laid with your eyes shut.

He picked you up and frantically searched for signs of life coming from you.

You slowly opened your eyes.

"M-Mr Pic..." You said weakly.

"It's going to be okay y/n..." Piccolo murmured.

You poked his forehead and jumped out of his arms.

"You're it!" You said and sprinted off giggling loudly.

Piccolo flew after you and picked you up once again.

"We're playing a different game." He said.

"Aw fine! Let's play makeovers then!" You said happily.

Piccolo's eyes widened.

"What?!" He shouted.

You giggled and ran around the field, collecting flowers.

"You're going to look super pretty Mr Pic!" You said cheerfully.

"You shall not bring those anywhere near me!" Piccolo shouted.

You looked at him with a mischievous grin.

"This is gonna be fun..."

~Time skip~

"All done!" You said.

Piccolo was sitting on a rock with his arms crossed.

You had put flowers everywhere on him, even tied one to each of his antennae with blades of grass.

"You're so pretty!" You cheered and sat in his lap.

Your stomach growled.

"Lunch time!" You said happily and pulled out a lunch your mother had packed you in a little bag.

Piccolo sighed and meditated as you ate your lunch in his lap.

"That was yummy!" You said after you had finished.

You yawned and soon slipped into sleep.

Piccolo held you in his arms and stood up.

"It's time for you to go home..." He said quietly.

He carried you to your house and knocked on the door.

Your teenage brother, Gohan, opened the door.

"Hello Mr Piccolo!" He said cheerfully.

Gohan stifled a laugh when he saw Piccolo covered in flowers.

"You had a busy day with my little sister, huh?"

"Be quiet Gohan..." Piccolo grumbled and carried you inside.

Gohan laughed softly and shut the door.

"You can stay as long as you'd like Mr Piccolo, but I have to go do my homework." Gohan said and slipped back into his room.

Piccolo walked into the living room and found your father snoring on the couch.

Piccolo laid you down next to him and covered you with a blanket.

"Don't crush her, Goku..." He muttered before walking out of the house and flying off.

When you awoke you told your family all about your day with Piccolo.

Goku laughed and picked you up.

"You gave Piccolo a makeover y/n?"

"He sure needs one..." Chi-Chi muttered as she cooked dinner.

"I can tell Mr Piccolo likes her." Gohan said smiling.

"Yeah!" You cheered.

"It was the best day ever!"
