Ross's POV

I broke down crying. I sat there on the ground crying for half an hour before I decided to go back. I wiped the tears away and stood up. I was about to go back home when I heard something. It was the sound of branches shaking but the wind wasn't blowing that hard. It was only a light breeze. I wasn't alone.

"Hello?" I said.

I waited for an answer. I felt a pair of eyes on me. No answer.

"Is anyone there?"

No answer. Suddenly I saw a pair of glowing red eyes looking at me.

"Who are you?"

No answer.

"I know you're there. I can see your eyes glowing."

No answer.

"Come out."

The pair of eyes stayed locked on mine for a second before they stopped glowing. I suddenly heard movement and ended up pinned to the ground. I was looking into the pair of eyes that were glowing once again. It was a female vampire but I couldn't see her face. It was too dark outside.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"You know who I am," she whispered, "don't you remember me?"

I thought about it for a second. Then I realized who it was.

"Laura?"
