Laura's POV
I heard the line go dead.
"Ross? Hello? You're still there right?"
I looked at the phone and hung up. I started tearing up.
Did he hang up because he didn't want to answer my question? Or did his phone die? Either way I knew that he wouldn't answer if I called him right now.
"Are you okay Laura?" Rydel asked.
"I-I'm not sure..."
"Need a hug?"
She opened her arms for a hug and I gratefully accepted and hugged her.
