Tony's POV
Lab
2 Months Later...

"She's been here 2 months and you don't even know her favorite color?!?!" Pepper yells at me.

"I know her favorite color." I give her a really look while bringing down the item in my hands.

"What is it?"

"... Blue." I guess, Pepper looks over at Wanda and Pietro for confirmation.

"Its red." They say at the same time.

Pepper smirks turning her head at me.

"Ok, did you know that?" I retort.

"I'm not her father."

"But you are her step-mother, no?" Pietro speaks up from his spot on the counter.

"No." Pep scoffs.

"Told you!" Wanda exclaims.

"Sorry." He mumbles.

"And get off my counter." I add. "You're here to test stuff not sit on it."

"Sorry." He mumbles again sliding off.

"Anyways." Pepper shifts the focus back. "You need to spend time with her, get to know your daughter."

"Yeah, make her hate you even more."

"Pietro." Wanda scolds her idiot brother.

"What?" He shrugs. "Just stating the obvious."

"Well it's not that obvious." I scoff at him.

Wanda scoffs. "I don't even need to read your mind to know that you know you're wrong." She shakes her head while laughing a bit. I shoot a glare her way.

"But why wouldn't she hate you?" Pietro crosses his arms and walks towards me. "You did leave her to Hydra when you had the choice to take her in, no?" He shrugs. "You had a chance to be in her life before, but you decided not to.

"She is in your life now and only because she is an Avenger. If Director Fury told you, you had a daughter, you probably would have decided to not meet her... And those aren't my words either." He smirks slightly as I drop my head to avoid his glare. "But you know they're true."

"Have you even said "I love you" to her yet?" Pepper adds.

"I've only known her for 2 months!" I defend.

"So," Wanda shrugs. "Pietro fell in love with her within a week." She mumbles, I raise an eyebrow at him.

"Pietro!" Veronica's echoes through the hallway and lab, all our heads snap towards the door. "Did you really mix silver hair dye with my blue shampoo?!?!" She walks into the lab to reveal her silver with a tint of blue hair and her dark roots being more visible than ever.

I see Pietro bite his lip then purse his lips trying to hold back a laugh as she glares at him.

"If you didn't put silver dye in I could have maybe yelled at Tiffany but no, it had to be silver!" She exclaims flailing her arms slightly.

"You look amazing." Wanda mocks.

"Did you have anything to do with this?" She points a finger at her.

"No." She raises her hands up in defense. "But I didn't stop it either."

Veronica takes a deep breath then walks up to Pietro, poking her finger into his chest while glaring at him.

"You're paying for this." She threatens. "Figuratively and literally."

"You can wash it out, you know." He points out.

"No you can't. I tried."

Pietro's eyes widen, Wanda chuckles.

"Well," Pepper breaks the tense silence. "Tony has a hair appointment at noon, if you want to fix your hair then." She suggests, I give her a really look.

"No, gotta train with Piet, Tiff, Wanda, Widow, and Hawk." She turns around to look at me while crossing her arms with Pietro behind her, his arms still crossed too. "But thanks anyway, Ms. Potts."

"When does training usually end?" She questions back.

"3."

"I'll reschedule it to 4 then so you can have time to get ready."

"She has super speed, she can get ready in 10 minutes, including a shower." Pietro scoffs, she elbows him in the gut, he groans and hunches over slightly.

"Then 3:30." She smiles then walks out of the room to most likely reschedule.

Veronica sighs deeply and turns to face Pietro.

"You're dead." She says then walks away.

"I actually already am!" He calls back, she flips him off as she exits the room.

Once the echoing of her slippers sliding against the smooth floor, I turn back at Pietro and glare at him.

"So." I click my tongue. "You fell in love with my daughter within a week?" I set down the thing in my hand and lean against the table on my hands.

"Uh. Well-" He scratches the back of his head then speeds out.

Sorry it's a day late and that it's short but I wanted to give you guys something. But if you want to read a good TSD go to my friend's page, Agent_Anna, she has two books of it, but they're only like 23 chapters long each so far. Or if you want to read some of my stuff, Avenging | Book 2 has 63 chapters, you can binge read.

Reason why it's late and short: 
Grandma's plane was delayed till 10pm and we got home at 12am. And since she is here, I'm in the living room socializing, not cooped up in my room writing and watching Netflix.

Just a reminder, I won't be updating a lot either too.
