Our next featured author is someone whose answers made me teary-eyed. She has reminded me of why I started Wattpad in the first place---to share my faith to everyone.

Her story, Project Ex is selling like hotcake in all bookstores nationwide. Go grab a copy and I'd find a way to get the autograph =)

Honestly, I am doing this update in a computer shop (as the net at home is kinda slow) because I want you guys to get inspirations from her. This is written in Filipino-English language so if you need a little translation, just messaged me and I'd help you out.

So dont forget to screen shot this and share this to the world!

My life quote                : "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

I live by this quote. In everything I do, I trust Him. Just Him. :)

As a writer:

I usually get inspiration from... movies, books, my own experiences and the stories that are shared to me by different people I come across with.

I write best during... the night. Aside from being nocturnal, I function best when it's quiet and when I know everyone's asleep. I like the thought that when I write, it feels like I'm giving away the vibe, the story, the love, every emotion I have at that moment, I'm throwing it away in the world tapos may sasalo somewhere, tapos mapapanaginipan nila. :)

My writing style is... free style, I guess. I picture every scene in my head. Every character, feeling ko ako sila that's why sometimes when I write, I cry. I feel them. Para siyang movie na nagpeplay sa isip ko then I just narrate what I imagine, the exact scene and how the characters feel. I don't follow a specific style. Kung ano maramdaman ko, the words just come. The paragraphs are formed. Walang restriction.

For those who would like to start writing, my message is...

Do it to express. If you have a story to tell, write it in a way na you feel right about it. Don't mind the readers whether magugustuhan nila o hindi. Ang mga writers, I believe, are like directors. Sayo manggagaling direksyon ng kwento. As a storyteller, your job is to tell a story sa perspective mo. Don't write to gain audience and to make money out of it. Those things will just follow. Cliché man pero write from the heart kasi kung papaano mo siya sinulat, yun ang mararamdaman ng mga magbabasa ng kwento mo.

Writing tips:

Be patient. Wag papadala sa pressure ng iba kasi ang pagsusulat ng isang kwento ay parang pagmamahal, pangit ang kinakalabasan pag pinipilit. Of course, you should have that certain degree of discipline. You should know the difference between writer's block and procrastination. Lagi alalahanin na ang isang manunulat... NAGSUSULAT.

You can't consider yourself a writer kung lahat naka-ipon lang sa isip mo. Bigyan mo ng panahon, write as often as you can because that's the best way for you to find your wave. Do it frequently kahit wala ka sa mood kasi pag niyakap na ng buong pagkatao mo ang pagiging manunulat mo, ang pagsusulat mo magiging parang paghinga nalang... automatic. :)

And of course, pray. Always. Kasi lahat ng kwento na dumadating sayo, naiisip mo, nararamdaman mo, lahat ng source of inspiration mo, nanggagaling sa Taas. Thank God for it and ask guidance all the time. When you get Him involved, I promise you, your stories will be gold. Allow Him to use you and your talent para mafulfill niya yung purpose Niya. Lastly, don't forget to give back. If you can help other people fulfill their dreams too, gawin mo. Mas masarap matupad ang mga pangarap mo when you bring other people with you. :)
