Chapter 11

-Fast Forward to 17th June-

I woke up and rubbed my swollen eyes, I’d nothing but cry for the past few days. I had new red lines remaining above my stretch marks on my hips, you could only really see a couple now though which is a change after when I first did them. I haven’t really spoken to Harry since he left but Koulla told him what I did after I spent the night crying to her on skype. I’ve just been feeling so shit lately, worthless, pathetic, unwanted, not good enough, you name it I’ve been feeling it. From being so happy to this again seriously sucks. I pulled my phone of charge and shut the sound of my Live While We’re Young alarm off to that I have a new message, from Harry. I opened it up: “Morning beautiful, just remember today is your last exam! Good luck, I have a surprise for you afterwards to hopefully cheer you up! X” I smiled as I hit reply: “Can’t wait! X” I sent it then set about getting ready and trying to cover up the evidence of last night’s crying.

I already felt better as I stepped on the bus, I just had to get through today and then I’d be done with school forever! My newly put on braces were also stopping to hurt, what sucks though, is that I still can’t chew. Harry is yet to see them on me and despite the odd compliment from people saying they suit me I was still super nervous that whatever feelings Harry once had would disappear.

“Your last exam!” Koulla gave me a faint smile, unfortunately she hadn’t really been happy for a while.

“I know, Harry has something planned as well…” I smiled as I remembered the text.

“I know.” This time a genuine smile crept its way onto her face.

“What? You have  to tell me!”

“Nope, I won’t say anything!” She giggled. The rest of the journey was focused on me trying to get information out of her, I failed.

“Good luck.” Koulla and I said to each other simultaneously as we walked into the gym late and found our seats. I sat down at the tiny table which had a piece of tracing paper on and a small sheet of paper with my name and student number on. I wasn’t nervous, the last Maths exam went pretty well and as weird as it sounds I almost enjoy taking Maths exams. Now you wouldn’t of heard me say that last year but this year my maths results have come up from like 2%,15% at best, to 92%, class highest. Praise the teacher. The teacher at the front ranted on as usual as the papers were handed out, I filled out the basics and waited.

“Ok, you can start now.” She announced, the sound of papers opening filled up my ears as I got straight to work on answering my last exam paper.

I had a massive grin on my face as I left the exam room after one hour and three quarters. I’d done it. I’d finished school. No suspensions or expulsions, which is a shock for me, I made it. Koulla handed me my bag with a massive smile on her face.

“I have instructions for you!” She pulled out an A4 envelope and held it out to me. Slowly I took it and read the front which has my name on with a heart beside it then Harry’s signature beneath it. “Don’t open it until you get home! Have fun!” With that Koulla skipped off to go and join Beth and Bethany. I quickly made my way out of the school so I could get home as quickly as possible.

“ADRIANA!” My name was called I span around to see my head teacher pointing to a black car sat outside the conservatory which I’d just walked past. “This is for you!” He opened the back seat.
