Chapter 3

.I was shoving all my small desk stuff into my nightstand when I heard the door open and shut.  

I realized it was Derek and did A quick look around my room to make sure the room was perfect before I skipped out of my room, I turned around and shut my door before I walked into the living room,

"Hey derrr.... Some chick?" I looked between Isaac and the slutty blonde who was standing in the middle of the living room,

"Who the hell are you?" She asked as she smacked her gum. I raised my eyebrow  

"Marcey" I all but spat at her, "and who the hell are you?" I could feel my female wolf starting to come through, wanting to put this bitch in her place.

"Erica." She bared her fangs and snarled at me, "and you came to the wrong house." I could tell this girl didn't know I was a wolf also, and she must be younger than me. I flicked my hand out to my side, making my claws pop out,

"No. I didn't." I saw her eye widen slightly as I lunged for her.

I raked my claws across her face, as she landed a punch to my gut. I landed on my back for a second before springing back up and landing on top of her, I landed so I was straddling her waist and I had one hand locked around her throat.  

"Don't.mess.with me." I growled, I felt my eyes flash gold and I snapped my teeth at her before I crawled off of her and dusted myself off and straightened out my top.

I turned around when I heard clapping.

I turned and saw Derek standing on the doorframe with a darker skinned boy with a short buzzed cut and brown eyes.  

I raised my eyebrow at Derek as he crossed the room and lifted the bitch Erica up. I growled at her as she looked at me and walked over to the couch at sat by Isaac, I raised an eyebrow at him and he just shrugged,

"I wasn't about to break the fight up" I just rolled my eyes and look at Derek who looked quite amused by all this.

"So I take it this is your pack?" I asked, folding my arms and looking around and the two new wolfs, Derek nodded his head and smirked before he walked past me and into his own room.

I walked over to the boy who was still standing in the doorway, I made my way over to him and put a friendly smile on my face,

"Hey, I'm Marcey" I said extending my hand to him.

He looked at me for a few seconds before extending his hand to me,

"Boyd.... How do you know Derek?" I smiled at him,

"Mutual friends... And he's my alpha." Boyd's eyes widened and I heard Erica choke on air. I turned around and smirked back at Erica and saw her get up an stalk into Derek's room. Isaac was the only one who wasn't surprised by this.

"Ah... So that's why I could smell your stuff." I smiled at him and nodded,

"Yeah... Just moved in today." Boyd smiled a friendly smile before nodding,

"Well, welcome to the pack" I nodded before walking over to Isaac and sitting down next to him.

I let my ears travel to the back room where Derek and Erica were,

"What do you mean she's in the pack?!" I heard Erica whisper yell,

"Do you want this thing to kill everyone Erica? We need her!" Derek raged  

"Can't we kill it without her?!"  

"No."

"But Derek!"

I just stopped listening after that, I knew Derek wasn't going to change his mind and I just needed some reassurance about that.  

I looked to Isaac  

"Is she always like this?" I asked, he looked at me

"Complaining to Derek or hating everyone?"  

"Either?"  

"Well in that case.... Yes"

"On what one?"

"Both" I nodded my head and turned back to see what Isaac was watching,

"Spongebob?" I ask, Isaac grins at me and I laugh slightly  

"Only the best a TV show ever!" I smile at how childish Isaac was.

"Ok, guess I can't disagree."

I was laying on my bed taking Scott about how I was settling,

M-'It good i guess'  

S-'you guess?'  

M-'yeah... Day one and already made an enemy'

S-'????'

M-'nvm i'll tell you when I see you next'

S-'kk, talk to you later'

I set my phone down and stared at the ceiling. I was glad to know that Derek wasn't that mad about the whole thing... I still don't know what came over me though. I just felt like Erica needed to be gone and my inner wolf was telling me to get rid of her.  

Given she does seem like one of the biggest bitches ever!  

I heard a knock on my door that snapped me out of the thoughts.

"Oh... Come in!" I spoke normally, knowing that they would hear me.

Derek walked in and looked around me room, I saw the ends of his mouth twitch up slightly, causing an even bigger smile to make it's way onto my face and Derek turned to look at me,

"What?" He asked, a slight laugh faint in his tone,

"Nothing." I giggled slightly and propped myself up and sitting 'cris cross applesauce' on my bed. Derek sat down at the foot of my bed and looked at me,

"Wanna tell me why you attacked Erica?" He shifted so he had a better look at me and blushed when I saw him look me up and down. I cleared my throat and his eyes snapped back up to mine. I smiled a little awkwardly as he shook his head,

"I'm sorry-" "no, it's ok... And to be honest? I have no idea why I attacked her.... It was like my inner wolf was just screaming at me to just attack her and put her in her place. Even though the human side of me didn't want to fight..." I paused for a second "well actually... The human side of me wasn't necessarily stopping it but... Never mind" Derek chuckled and nodded his head,

"Well it's okay, she won't bother you anymore." I smiled at him

"Thank you for that by the way" Derek kind of gave me a look

"What are you talking about? You put her in her place, you're the one who taught her not to mess with you" I was kind of shocked by this, but I quickly recovered,

"But thank you for taking my side." He nodded his head and got up without another word. I started at the spot he was just starting at and was snapped out of it when my phone buzzed.

*Derek's POV*

I left the room without saying a word. I could hear her heart beat increase whenever I looked her in the eyes, and when she caught me checking her out I heard how much her heart was pounding. I smirk to myself as I entered the living room,

"Have a nice heart to heart chat?" I looked over and saw Erica sitting on the couch.

I rolled my eyes,

"No Erica, we didn't have a 'heart to heart'" I put air quotes around 'heart to heart.' And she just rolled her eyes. She made her way over to me and grabbed me by the front of my jacket. Boyd had gone home and Isaac was In His room, I wish Erica would have gone home by now. I was ready to be alone.

She pressed her lips to mine in a swift movement and pulled away,

"Call me when you get rid of her." She sent me a wink and walked out,

"Don't hold your breath." I muttered, but still know she heard it
