Chapter 28

I was pissed as I stormed into another room, I know that it was the "best thing for her" according to Isaac, but who knows? This girl could have come from a family of hunters! And in that case she's as good as dead! I shakingly ran a hand through my brown hair that was in waves but was now back to its original form of being straight, I heard Derek come in and I turned to him an hugged him tightly,
"She won't want this." I whispered to him, so distraught about what I had to unwillingly do. Derek made a 'shh' noise as he rubbed up and down my back and kissed the crown of my head,
"It's better then death" I looked up at him,
"Is it? Because constantly our always running AWAY from death? How's that better?" Derek shuffled on his feet an sighed,
"I don't think that girl wanted to die... And if she did we can always kill her." I almost choked on the air when he said that,
"How can you say that so easily?" I asked; shocked at my mates attitude to this. Derek shrugged,
"I've been around it my whole life. You have to get used to it pretty fast," I scrunched up my face,
"I don't think I can do that." I whispered, Derek was about to respond when a scream racked through the house and all but shattered my ear dumbs, my eyes widened and Derek and I rushed out to everyone, " Isaac what is happening!" I demanded in a panicking way,
" I don't know , one minute I was talks to her and then the other she was screaming shaking!" Isaac said, looking from me to the girl.
"Help me!" She screeched out. Derek swiftly got down into the ground and hovered above the girls face,
" Open your eyes !!" He yelled . Her eyes snapped open and they were a glowing amber. I watched in a surprisingly calm matter as her fangs an claws grew out.
" What the hell is happening to me!?" She yelled/growled.
"It's a long story" Stiles and scratched behind his head and muttered 'and really fucking annoying' but I think I was the only one who payed attention. "Tell me." She growled out, and I think it scared her because the look on her face, I sighed and bent down close to her.
"Hi Jessica." I said and smirked, she glared at me.
"Aren't you the assistant coach? And get the fuck out of me face." I gave her an 'oh really?' Look and I flashed my red eyes and her and let out the meanest growl I could come up with and she cowered back and put her hands up,
"P-point taken." She said,
"Damn straight." I muttered, "now, what's going on? We'd all kinda like to know the same thing, apparently Isaac found you near death and saved your ass! That's all I know. As far as everything ells? You're a werewolf babe, so get used to it. You can choose to not be apart of this pack but if you leave there's a 90% chance you'll die." Her eyes flashed to Isaac and I sighed, "yes. Isaac's one too, and yes... From everything I've heard so far he's the one that killed your mom.... Can I be done now?" I asked, standing up and walking over to Derek who flung his arm around my shoulder,
"Be nicer next time babe." Be nibbled on my ear a little but I just shot him a nasty look,
"Wait... Are you two together?" Jessica's eyes flickered between Derek and I and I nodded and crossed my arms over my chest, "oh... Well you lucky, he's cute." My jaw clenched and my eyes narrowed, I balled my fists up and I felt my eyes change.
"Don't fucking talk about him like that." I growled out, feeling my wolf become very protective of my mate. Derek chuckled but Isaac gave me a disapproving look that I just shrugged off, Jessica's face flashed fear and I felt accomplished. Isaac squatted down next to her,
"Erm, I'll explain... Marcey usually isn't this much of a bitch..." He glared at me before turning back to Jessica, "but her and Derek are mates, so you really shouldn't vocalize any uh... Opinions, about him out loud, because there both very protective of one another." She hesitantly nodded before locking gaze with Isaac,
"This isn't a joke is it?" He shook his head and she me out a sigh, I just rolled my eyes; not liking her very much. I gave everyone a look so we all cleared out of the room, I hugged on to Derek's side as we all walked out of the apartment and into the hallway to where Isaac and Jessica couldn't hear us.
"Well your a bitch," Stiles just came out and said, I sighed and sat down in the floor and placed my head in my hands,
"I know... I was this was with Erica too... I just have everyone with a vagina... Besides Allison." They all have me weird looks but I shrugged it off,
"So what are we going to do about all this? There clearly going to think that she was the one that killed her mom-"
"Whoa!" I said, cutting Peter off, "did anyone ells realize how similar this is with Isaac? His dad was killed by some supernatural shit and Derek took him in... Now her?" I let out a low whistle, "weird... But now Derek took not only Isaac in and now her? Don't you think that's going to draw some attention from the cops?" We all looked at one another,
"Hide the body?" Scott suggested, Stiles shook his head,
"Can't explain how Jessica's still in town but her moms missing, plus you couldn't get the smell of blood out fast enough, and if you did clean it up you would be able to smell the cleaning supplies."
"Well... What if I offered to take care of her? No one would really suspect and we could have Jessica go to the police first and tell them everything?" Everyone remained silent for a minuet before nodding,
"I think that's the only thing we CAN do without drawing a lot of attention." Peter said, I rubbed my head and sighed.
"Way more then I sighed up for..." I said looking away from everyone and down the hall, actually wishing for once I was normal.
