"And that's how Rudolf got his red nose." Kristoff told her as they walked back to the castle foyer, arms linked together; Anna giggling at him. "Okay I'd admit, that was kind of funny." She said as she withdraws her arm from his with a genuine grin plastered on her face and her hands supporting his. "I enjoyed this day too." She added, a smile quickly found its way on his face at her confession "I knew you'd like it there." He said with a playful smirk; jerking Anna a little at the side. "Who wouldn't? That place is so mysteriously beautiful just by the sight of it." She told him.

Then she stopped in her tracks and turned to him "You know what? I think you were right." She confessed; hands supporting his. "Right about what?" he asked creasing a curious brow "About taking a break from all of this." She said emphasizing the castle with her bare hands, Kristoff couldn't help but chuckle "I guess I've made a point after all" he said with a mischievous smirk plastered on his face. "You don't say." Anna she said, rolling her eyes in a peeve manner. "We can go there often-if you wish" he said as he withdraw his arm from her to push the enormous double door open, "Perhaps after the Swinter festival" she noted and took a step inside and added "And you can tell me more about Rudolf and his unusual crimson nose" jerking him a little at the side. They both chuckled in unison "Okay" Kristoff said in between chuckles as he closed the doors.

Elsa immediately closed the door once she entered and slumped back on the door, slowly sliding down. She closed her eyes and breathed in and out, then opened them again; looking at the ceiling, she couldn't help but wonder.

Is this fate?

Is seeing him again after years of avoiding him fate? Destiny? Or bad luck? So many questions running through her head, but none ever got cooped up to her. What could all this mean? Frustrated, she stood up and went to her closet. At the bottom, she travelled her hand on it until she passed to an unusual rosemailing that turns out to be Arendelle's family crest which she pushed; just as she did, a hidden drawer revealed itself from the opposite side. She rushed towards the drawer and pulled it open.

Parchment, all you can see is nothing more than parchment; some are either folded or crumpled, she dug up the papers until a black box was seen. Hastily, she took it from the drawer and pushed it to close; she blew the tiny dust particles from it and wiped it until gold stencils were visible. She clicked on the lock and opened it; revealing a majestic teardrop-shaped emerald nestled on magenta silk that shown.

It's funny how even until now, she couldn't tell what its purpose was or what it can do. She had no clue; exception to those four words that Pabbie told her when he gave it to her:

Memories Never Fade Away

Miscellaneous, she thought. If memories never did fade away then she wouldn't be this melancholy now won't she? She shook those thoughts from her head and grabbed the emerald from its box; keeping the box back into the drawer and closing it afterwards. Then she stood up and went to the wall at the right, she slumped back down and continued to gaze at the emerald rested on her hand; caressing it with her free hand. "Now where would Pabbie ever get a crystal this beautiful?" she murmured, eyes fixed at it.

Her thoughts were interrupted when someone suddenly knocked at her door. "Yes?" she said rising up from the floor, tucking the gem in one of the drawers on her vanity. "Supper is served, your Majesty." a maid announced from the door, "I'll be down. Thank you" she replied. "Oh wait!" she squealed as she ran towards the door and opened it, the maid waiting for her "Could you inform Prince Hans as well? Thank you." She requested "Yes, Your Majesty." The maid bowed and went to his room.
