Show Off (Bokuto Koutaro X Reader)

"DID I TELL YOU GUHS ABOUT (First Name)?! (First Name) MADE PIZZA FOR ME YESTERDAY! IT TASTED SOOOO GOOD, I WAS ON HEAVEN! ALSO--"

"Bokuto-san, this is the 69th time you've told us today. We understand that you're excited, just please shut up so we can practise." Akaashi sighed and look at his hyper friend. Bokuto had asked you out on Friday, and you said yes. Ever since, Akaashi had been getting three times the texts he normally gets from Bokuto, like:

'(First Name) put the dough in the oven!'

'OMG OMG BURNT MY HAND'

'AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

'We have to wait 45 minutes ;-;'

'Pizza is still not ready yet'

'Dancing with (First Name)'

'(First Name) thinks I'm cute'

'oops dropped my phone haha'

And that was just a few. Akaashi noticed the door slowly creep open as (Last Name) walked in. And (Last Name) couldn't have picked a better timing... Thought Akaashi.

"(First Name)'s here! I told you, (First Name) is my significant other, in fancy words." Koutaro boasted, crossing his arms.

"Koutaro, that wasn't even fancy." You replied bluntly, as the unrealistic arrow struck through his chest.

"Anyway, I came to watch you guys practise. So, do your best." You winked, and Bokuto felt fired up.

The practise started, almost every time he was about to spike, he yelled, "(First Name), WATCH THIS!" As he harshly spiked the ball into the ground. Sometimes, he would try other techniques. It amazes you how much effort he put into this and realized he deserved to be one of the top five volleyball players in Japan.

It was also fun to watch himself get very excited when he got a spike, and getting depressed. Nevertheless, you still cheered him on, and he did his best. Your favourite thing was whenever he got a 'point', he would yell "Hey, Hey, Hey!" and his team would reply in a monotone voice, "Hey, Hey, Hey..."

When practise ended, you approached the ace. "You did really great, Koutaro!" He grinned widely, and then held you in a headlock, and started to 'noogie' you. "I couldn't have done it if it wasn't for you, (First Name). I love you!" He told you, as the whole team 'aww'ed and you got out of the headlock position, and hugged him.

"That reminds me, guys! Did I tell you that (First Name) baked me a pizza?"

"YOU TOLD US! Go home, Bokuto." The team said, as Bokuto started to sulk.

"There there, Koutaro. Do you want more pizza?"

"YEAH!"
