Chapter 6

I realised that i am missing Karthik!! How can I?
We were good friends from the time our engagement got fixed. After marriage he was travelling and i am staying in bangalore. Dad and mom were in mumbai to set new branch of Dad's company.

Now we all will stay together and i am so happy . . I want to live happily with my Karthik.
But what if he still loves Shruthi? What will i do if he is not ready to move on?

No!! I should stop assuming things . . I can miss him, he is my husband. I miss you . . Thinking this i started taking deep breaths.Suddenly there are sounds from living room, i hurried to check . . Am i dreaming or is this true?

Karthik is hugging his parents and i stood there admiring him. God!! He is becoming handsome day by day. I came out of thoughts when i saw him coming towards me and he surprised me with a hug! He never did this . . I am on cloud nine. I pinched my hand to check if its a dream. I lost track of whats happening around me.

"No, i had my dinner. I will rest now" he answered mom and went in. I just followed him.

"How are you? Do you need anything?" I asked him entering our room.

"You can see how i am" he answered unpacking his bags.

"How is engagement?" I asked

"Oh you know about it. Its too good. I enjoyed alot. Isha is very happy" he said with a mesmerising smile.

"How is your business? No more tours na?" I asked him hoping there will be no more.

"Its none of your business Shreya" he said irritatedly.

"I am sorry, I . . I . . trying to talk" i was stammering he glared at me and went to fresh up.

What did i do? Did i ask him anything wrong? I supressed my tears. My sleep lost its address so i opened a book and started reading by resting on my side of bed.
