Your feet were bursting in your shoes as you ran for the bus. You couldn't miss it, not now. You pushed forward as you saw the bus in near distance. You shouted after it as you watched it take off. The last bus for the night and you missed it, you scrutinised yourself.

You were so excited when Dylan called that you didn't think you could wait till tomorrow. He wanted to let you know he had a few days off from filming and really wanted to see you. You were supposed to catch the bus to him and run into each other's arms just like the movies, but you had missed the bus. You didn't know if you could keep waiting. It had been months since you had seen him. Of course you texted everyday and Skype whenever you could, but it wasn't the same as being in his embrace and just living in his space. That's what always happened, he would go away for months and you would suffer. He would join his best friends for a few months while you were left behind in the big city.

You sent him a quick text telling him you missed the last bus, but he never responded.

You hadn't waited by the bus stop after you put yourself in a funk. You caught a taxi home being to lazy to walk. Luckily you hadn't made your bed before rushing out so the mound you had created the last two days was still present. The weekends became too long as you realised all you did was eat and watch movies. Your friends had invited you out, but you preferred the lazier option.

It felt like you hadn't even gone out once you pulled your nightgown over your head and rested in the weekend mould of your bed. You were watching The Wedding Planner for the eighth time this month with a bucket of maltesers in your arms.

There was a strange breeze flowing through your home so you closed all the windows not willing to risk becoming ill.

You finished the credits of your second movie by the time the breeze had returned to your dismay as you had been extremely comfortable lying down.

"I thought I closed all the windows." You moaned as you let your feet carry you through the house like a zombie.

You past the corner and stubbed your toe on the edge. You cursed out loud as the pain swept through you. You pulled yourself to the ground and cuddled your toe. You started to hear the door creaking and the sound of footsteps followed by wheels.

"What happened?!" He dropped his bag and came to your aid.

"Dylan." You breathed.

"(Y/N)." He smiled down at you lying on the floor. "Good thing I came back, what would you do without me?" He spoke as he lifted my body from the floor.

You swung your arms around his neck. "Nothing." You smiled before pecking your handsome boyfriend.
