"I still can't believe I'm driving my best friend to work on a Nicolas Sparks movie," Amanda seemed more excited than you were to get the call about this movie, but that didn't mean you weren't completely ecstatic.

There was something about doing a Nicolas Sparks movie the held some dignity. Channing Tatum, Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams and so many other names had starred in his book to movie adaptations and now so would you.

You were also so excited to meet your leading man. You had read the book from cover to cover at least six times and you had already fallen in and out and back in love with his character. There as something about leaving an initial surprise and they wanted an authentic reaction for the first scenes you'd be shooting. You had thought it was strange to not find out about your co-star, but you were excited for the beautiful method of constructing a Nicolas Sparks movie.

"I can't believe this," you said in awe as you admired the plot around you.

"I'm so proud of you, Zara! You're making such a wonderful name for yourself in this industry," she was too consumed by her surroundings to face you, but the message got across. You shook your head and smiled. You were proud of yourself. Three months ago you were a moping wreck, so you could not have been more thankful for the call 34 days after your so called 'break' to tell you of the special news.

"Oh, theres the sign," you pointed out as Amanda manipulated her way around the carpark to find the way to set. She swiftly pulled up in a spot and you had to take a few breaths before getting out of the car. You followed behind Amanda, struggling in the California heat as she lead you to your trailer via the signs plastered everywhere.

"Here she is, my leading lady!" A friendly voice greeted you, one you had recognised from the phone calls and the audition. He embraced you in a tight hug, seemingly almost as excited Amanda.

"Alright just a quick briefing for today and then in the morning we will have a different schedule that will be sent out tonight," you think you got everything that he was saying, but his lips were moving at the speed of light. You just nodded away and hoped it would pass.

"So I hope you didn't ruin the surprise about your co-star," he dropped a smooth wink, "essentially, we want you to go in there and be genuinely shocked at whoever is on the other side," his hands are waving around ferociously and his tone lowers, "and we think you will be very excited to see who pops through the window."

"I'm so excited to jump right in." You play professional very well.

"Awesome, Zara!" With one last hug and a compliment for Amanda, he had left you alone.

It hadn't taken long for your hair and makeup team to transform you into your character, Winnie. They tousled your hair in loose waves over your shoulders and did some basic make-up and you slid into a light blue night gown, which was enough to make you feel brand-new.

You were usually nervous before the first scene, but even more so now that you wouldn't know who would come through the window. Literally. The set was a cute bedroom with pastel purple walls with fake family photos and posters plastered all over the walls. There were drapes hung by the window and it took all of you, as well as all of Amanda, to keep you from peeking at your mystery co-star.

"Okay, scene set?" The director you met earlier had crept onto the set without you noticing. A few tech guys nodded at him and he walked over by my side.

"Okay, Winnie," he exaggerated, obviously still trying to keep my identity a secret. "Just sit here," he guided me to the rocking chair with some books in the seat, "he's going to make some rattling noise, you'll move closer to the window and then he will just swing through and we'll take the scene from there." He patted you on the back and left the scene as you sat in the rocking chair.

Your nerves began to writhe within you, but you knew as soon as it started you would be fine.

"And action!" He yelled. You began to rock in the chair, reading your book with one leg crossed over the other. There was some fumbling sounds which you assumed was the cue. You screwed your face up and walked towards the window placing your book on the seat behind you. You ran a hand through your hair and tucked it behind your ear for the camera, still in action.

This was it, you thought as you saw two hands pushing the window up. The hands gripped the window sill and you believed the struggle as he pushed himself up. You didn't realise the hoody was part of the scene as the hooded character couldn't even be determined. You tried to guess who it was from the hands, but you didn't want to admit who you thought. He swung his legs over the prop and stumbled a bit as he placed to feet on the carpet laid in your room.

"Well, sweetheart, you're the first girl I've ever climbed a window for." You could hear the smile in his voice and your nerves froze at the sound. He turned around and pulled the hood off from his head. With one look, you shook your head and sprinted for the exit. You heard some shouting behind you, but you let your feet carry you off to your trailer, the only place you knew with a lock on the entire set.

You let your head fall in your hands as you replayed the scene over and over again in your head.

"Zara?" A light tapping came from the door. You knew exactly who it was. For as much as you didn't want to have to talk through your problems on set, you didn't want to blow this opportunity. Breathe in, breathe out, you played in your head before you mustered the strength to open the door.

"Dylan," if you didn't believe it before, you definitely believed it now. The two of you endured the silence as you returned to your seat.

"They were all worried about you on set and Amanda was about to fight me," he tried to lighten the mood.

"How was your break?" You didn't mean to say so outrightly, but you were too mad at him to care.

"Worst mistake of my life," he spoke honestly, not stupid enough to try to lie.

"Dylan," you threatened with your tone.

"No, Zara, please listen." He begged. You looked up to him and he hadn't moved an inch from the door. "I seriously mean it, I have never been so unhappy and regretful for anything in my entire life. Suggesting that we have a break was the most asinine thing I've ever done."

"So why did you do it?" You crossed your arms over your chest.

"I was scared, but now I've never been so scared of loosing you. I have meant to call so many time, but I didn't think you would pick up." He's sliding closer to you. "You were the first person I wanted to call when I got this role, Zara. You were the first person I wanted to call when I was tired, when I was sick, when I remembered how I much I love you."

"I never stopped loving you," you mumbled under your breath. He takes that as an invitation and bends down on one knee.

"Zara," he holds your hand delicately in his, "you don't have to marry me right now if you don't want, but please take me back."

So do you take him back????? Let me know in the comments :))))

I've chosen to delete the photo, but I will always appreciate all your lovely comments!! Thank you my angels! Stay fabulous xxx
