ZAYN

I watched as Scarlett finally woke up, looking around. Her eyes flashed over to me, not noticing I was awake. Her eyes were working double time, taking in the whole room. Her breathing had accelerated, as she looked down at her newly dressed body.

"Morning."My groggy voice rang out. She jumped a little and her eyes found mine.

"Did you dress me?" I smirked.

"I did."

"Did we..?" She trailed off and I felt horrified. I could never take advantage of her like that.

"No." She visibly relaxed.

"Well..are you going to make breakfast?" She shoved my chest lightly.

"Keep dreaming, Malik." I laughed with her, and stood up, stretching out my limbs. I slipped on sweatpants before standing up the rest of the way. I walked out of the room, feeling Scarlett's eyes on my back the whole time. I turned on the radio and my old friend Harry's new song came on.I sang along.

"now you were standing there,

right in front of me.

I hold on,

it's getting harder to breathe.

All of a sudden

these lights are blinding me

I never noticed how bright

they could be.

I saw in the corner,

there is a photograph

no doubt in my mind,

it's a picture of you.

It lies there alone,

in it's bed of broken glass,

this bed was never made for two of us.

I'll keep my eyes, wide, open.

i'll keep my arms wide open.

Don't let me,

Don't let me,

Don't let me, go,

'cause I'm tired of feeling alone.

Don't let me,

Don't let me go,

'cause I'm tired of feeling alone.

I promised one day

that I'd bring you back a star.

I caught you one

and it burned a hole in my hand

(oh.)

Seems like these days

I watch you from afar.

just trying to make you, understand

I'll keep my eyes wide open,

(yeah)

don't let me,

don't let me,

don't let me go,

'cause I'm tired of feeling alone.

don't let me,

don't let me go,"

I ate my cereal, during the guitar solo, listening to the sound of the shower that Scarlett was in.

"don't let me,

don't let me,

don't let me go,

'cause I'm tired of feeling alone.

Don't let me,

don't let me,

don't let me go,

'cause I'm tired of feeling alone.

don't let me,

don't let me go,

'cause I'm tired of sleeping alone."

as the song ended I heard quiet applause and turned towards the sound.

"You sing." It wasn't a question but I nodded. She grabbed my cereal and put it in the sink.

"Can we please go to Starbucks?" She whined. I gave in without hesitation.

I got into the hallway, noticing Scarlett's giggling.

"What??"

"You might want to put on a shirt!" She laughed. I looked down, realizing I was still only in my sweats. I rushed back in before coming out and grabbing her hand, dragging her still giggling body behind me.
