Very few people know of what's to come in the future by remembering and looking back at the past. It's a small number, but you are one of those people in a handful of humans. You learn on your mistakes so you don't make the same later on.

Though, you happened to fall for the same mistake that ended you up here.

"It's nice to see you again, (Y/N)," Anton said as you looked everywhere else but his eyes. You nodded your head and straightened your bag on your shoulder as you felt his eyes scan your face. "How have you been?"

You couldn't express yourself without getting upset. He was the only person you loved and he just up and left you without telling you, leaving you in an emotional wreck. Anton had now decided to talk to you after being alone for so long.

"Good, yourself?" You asked as he was the one now to look nowhere near your face and you glanced up to his eyes. They were cloudy and brimming with water. He was on the verge of crying and somehow you didn't feel guilty about it. "If there's nothing that you want, I really have to be going Anton."

You started to walk around him and got a couple feet before he called to you to come back. With your head held high, you continued on to your destination without looking over your shoulder at him.
