As rain softly patters against the house you watch from the front window the approaching storm clouds moving slowly through the sky towards your way. You've been watching the weather all day, anticipating the roaring storm since hearing about it this morning. Thunder booms outside and it makes a large smile spread across your lips.

"(Y/N)?" You hear your boyfriend, Taron, speak your name as you look away from the window. He stands beside the couch with a blanket wrapped loosely around his shoulder and a frightening look on his face, clearly scared of the storm. "Can I sit with you?"

"Of course, love," you response and you shift in your seat on the couch to make room for Taron. He sits behind you so you sit between his legs and lay your head on his chest. "Are you scared of the rain?"

"No! Definitely not..." your boyfriend says not all confident. Before he can explain himself a flash of lightning brightens up the sky and thunder rumbled loudly across the land making him jump lightly and hold his breath. "Um, maybe a little."

"Don't worry. I'll keep you safe, Taron."
