You remember when you were twenty and it was 1991. A great career was starting out for you as a young, beautiful supermodel. Traveling the world like never before, meeting celebrities you adored, and doing the job that you always wanted to do. Everything was looking up for you, even when you were so young.
Though, you felt like you were missing something in your life, a special someone. It wasn't until the end of the summer season when you found him. A rugged, handsome actor that was just rising to the scene. Mark Wahlberg. You fell in love with him as soon as you looked into his eyes. He told you he know you were his just as quick.
1991 was undoubtedly the best year for you. Your career took you to Europe and Africa as Mark's own job took off and he became the most known actor in Hollywood. It wasn't until two years later that you realised life was going to get bigger.
It was late in the year of 1993 and you were booked by Cosmopolitan for their front cover when you were surprised by Mark. He was at the shoot and dressed in a tuxedo, looking even more handsome. You loved that he showed up to support you but you were confused on why he was dressed like that until he pulled out a ring and got to his knee.
You were married a month later to the wonderful Mark Wahlberg. Three years later you two had a child together. Your career slowed but you were still busy as Mark worked harder than ever to rise to the top of Hollywood stardom. The marriage between the two of you grew stronger than ever and you loved him just a little more everyday.
It was by 2005 that you realised you could never live without Mark after years of torment from tabloids, fans, and careers bending you away from him and him from you. You renewed your vows and married again to the public for the fun of it and to make sure that your marriage lived forever.
You are forty-six now and it's the day of your twenty-third wedding anniversary to Mark. Your child will be there with family on both sides, as well as friends. You just weren't sure if Mark himself was going to show up. He said he was going to be busy with filming and you threw this party together last minute, only telling him yesterday durning lunch.
"He'll show up, (Y/N). I'm sure of it," your mother reassured you as you sat down and watched the front doors of the Wahlberg family restaurant, waiting for them to open. It was two hours later when friends decided to leave knowing that the night was getting late. An hour after that your parents left along with Marks family.
The people left at the party was your grown child, brother in-law, and your sister. Thirty minutes passed and your sister left saying that she'd see you tomorrow and you in-law said he was going to close the restaurant soon as he walked to the back of the building. You child looked at you with a sad look and smiled before giving you a kiss and saying that they were leaving too.
"Just talk to dad tomorrow. He'll understand because you understand," they told you as you waved them goodbye and sighed, starting to clean up. The door to the restaurant opened and the bell above it sounded as you turned around to find Mark standing there.
"(Y/N)! I'm so sorry! I forgot! I'm sorry babe!" Your husband said out of breath as you walked up to him and quieted him so he wouldn't talk anymore. You pointed to the clock on the wall that was slowly ticking to midnight. Reaching up you planted your lips on his and loved him even more.
"Happy anniversary." You parted and brought him to the counter and ate your cake in peace beside Mark.
