My friend's favourite musician and kind of mine. Really depends on the mood I'm in.

Enjoy

With a quick drag on the cigarette sitting between your thin lips, you start down the sidewalk away from the bar. All your friends were quite drunk and wishing to stay longer but you had plans in the morning and was not in the mood for vomit and spilled drinks on you tonight, so you took your leave earlier than expected.

The sun was tucked behind the city landscape as the moon sat crookedly in the sky above you, casting you in a pale, creme glow. You stopped at a street corner waiting for the cars to pass by taking another drag on the stick.

"Hey, you got a lighter?" A young brunette woman questioned as she walked up to you. She was dressed in a thick sweater and leggings despite the humid weather LA has been having. You placed your cigarette back in your mouth and dug for your lighter in your back pocket, finding it but dropping it on the ground.

You bent down to grab it as well as the lady who asked for it and the both of you touched hands. She had a surprisingly cold feeling in her fingertips that chilled your warm hand. You pulled back at the exchange and watched as she grabbed it, took out a cigarette, lit it, and handed your lighter back.

"Lana," she spoke in a sweet and rough eastern American accent as the both of you noticed the crosswalk was now empty, beckoning for the two of you to cross.

"(Y/N)," you said once you made it to the other side, parting your lips and dropping the tobacco stick to the ground. Lana hummed softly when you told her your name, causing you to glance at her.

"That's cute." A smile climbed on her face. You tugged at the jacket resting on your shoulders as she laughed lightly now. "Don't be nervous. I think you're just as stunning as I am," she said, not sounding conceited as she complimented you.

"I-I," you stumbled over your words as Lana laughed again, making you giggle along. "You are quite beautiful. I've never met a girl as beautiful as you before."

"Well, you'll get to see me again," Lana declared as she stopped walking and jaywalked across the street. You shuffled on your feet as you looked at her enter through a doorway. You knew you would definitely see her again soon.
