Alejandro Santos sat in his beachfront mansion going over the ledgers that were sent to him by his Captain. Recently profits had skyrocketed. Having Emilio and his attorney Zane from America had really helped with the documented paperwork. Since normally the people did not speak the language, the paperwork really came in handy. Who knew selling homeless women, men and children could line your pockets. He reviewed the shipment that was due in another three days. He had put in his request for five blonds. He didn't care what country they were from. Adding up the value of his shipment was right around $550,000. He also had shipments coming in from Kenya, Costa Rica and Russia. His contacts had received their cuts and his clients were waiting.
Alejandro had kidnappers in over thirty-two countries and counting. Governments said they were cracking down on illegal human trafficking but in honesty he was helping the government to get rid of indigents that fed off government programs. It was a win win situation for both parties. Since he started the trade ten years ago over six thousand girls, four thousand men and fifteen hundred children had become Suitors, Mosko girls, Politicos and Taxies.
Suitors were the names given to women and children usually from varies countries that were used for mail order brides. The man would buy one and domestic them sometimes using them as servants. It was free labor because they were married. Then went he got tired of them he would divorce them and buy another girl. Some of his clients had more than three ex-wives living in the households. They had no where to go so they normally stayed because of the lifestyle.
Mosko girls, were usually teens and women that were bought and used in bars and other establishments that were used for companionship and prostitution. They were normally given a room, and the bare necessities which was better than some of their previous situations. They were given little money as the business owner made a killing.
Politicos were men, children or women that were used for labor in other countries. The government would offered them a small sum of money and a piece of land on smaller islands. They were like indentured servants except they served for twenty or more years. The crops and items they made belonged to the government. Many times by the time the person was allowed to go back to their families they were in body bags because the labor was so intense.
Taxies normally came from Malaysia, Thailand, China, and the Philippines and they were transports to be used in logging and mining camps, fisheries, and entertainment sites. Usually one of Alejandro's assistants would offer the family of the young boy a year's salary in trade for their son. The wages were anywhere from $500 and up depending on the region. The young man would be taken and serve ten years. The families were happy and his businessmen were thrilled of the money they saved.
"Mr. Santos, this came for you," the Kenyan servant said handing Alejandro an envelope. He grabbed the envelope and opened it. There was an additional manifest with one additional person. He picked the phone up and called Emilio.
"What is the meaning of this? This was not part of the deal. Why do I have an American black female on my manifest and why is she headed here? I did not order a black American!" He yelled in the phone.
"She is not for sale. I needed her for something else and since a transport was leaving Patagonia, I had to ship her. I will pay you for her voyage."
"Emilio, I have done business with your Father and he has never done anything like this before. If you ever pull this shit again, I will fucking slice your neck off. You got me!"
"Yes."
"I want $10,000 for her transportation. Maybe that will teach your ass a lesson. I want it by the time the ship reached the pier in Bahia. If it is not there, I will kill your cargo, wife and you. Don't fuck with me!
"I understand, it won't happen again. I will send Luis with the money."
Alejandro disconnected the call. He had a funny feeling that Emilio would be dying by the end of the week.
**I know it was short, but I promise you will see why later.**
