Things were great,
If they'd last.
But they met their end,
Just as fast.
The complications,
Can't be true.
All I wished for,
Was me and you.
Your tender heart,
Your gentle touch.
Without you there,
I can't take much.
With every silence,
Time is lost.
Look what I've done,
What I've cost.
I was dumb,
I'm a mistake.
So see what's wrong,
For heaven's sake.
I miss and need you,
Here with me.
There's pain I'm feeling,
Why can't you see?
