Chapter 9

Our little family is reunited

I fell asleep that night with little Aurora in my arms. The little girl was so happy to see her dad again, she wouldn't stop talking about him. Ezra was really happy too, his eyes lit up everytime he hugged her, everytime he kissed her chubby cheeks, everytime he saw her, it was truly adorable.

"Mommy! Mommy wake up" I heard Aurora wishper

"What time is it honey?" I groaned but she just kept shaking my shoulder

"It's 7 A.M"

"What?!" I shot up and looked at her puppy eyes "Honey, what's wrong? Are you sick?"

"No mommy but I promised daddy we would eat breakfast with him" Aurora giggled

"Ooh, daddy isn't awake yet, I'm sure he sleeps for another three hours" I chuckled but just then someone opened the door

"Breakfast for my princess" Ezra smiled with a plate of food in his hands

"God Ezra what are you doing here so early?" I asked, quickly grabbed my sheets and pulled them over my chest.

"Oh, you're already awake, that's new" Ezra chuckled and put the plate with food on the table

"Speak for yourself! You used to sleep untill 11 AM, or longer" I chuckled

"Well, I've changed" Ezra smiled "come sit with us, I brought you those pancakes with strawberries and chococlate, but the chocolate only on the first pancake, just how you like it"

"Well if you turn around I can change because I'm kinda wearing my silk pyjama's and that's gonna be awkward" I said and felt my cheeks were turning red

"I remember something, like seven years ago when I walked into a bathroom and I saw some strange girl, standing in her bra.." Ezra smirked and pretended like he was thinking

"Ezra! Shut up!" I laughed and threw my pillow towards his head

"Come on mommy, I want to have breakfast with you and daddy" Aurora pouted and grabbed my wrist. She pressed with her little fingers right on my fresh scars wich caused me to gasp in pain.

"Mommy! Sorry I didn't want to hurt you I'm sorry!" Aurora yelled and pressed a kiss on my arm

"I'm fine honey, it's okay"

"Aria? Are you sure you're okay? What happened?" Ezra asked

"Yeah I'm fine okay!"

"Mommy tripped daddy, just like always!"

"Come on Aria, let me look at that" Ezra said and walked towards me but I jumped up

"I said I'm fine okay! Just back the hell off!"

"I'm just trying to help you!" Ezra said a little bit confused

"I don't need your help"

"Mommy! Don't yell at daddy he's just trying to help you!" Aurora yelled

"I'm sorry honey, just go to the table with daddy, I'll be right back" I smiled and walked to the bathroom. I changed into my normal clothes, put my hair in a messy bun and changed the band aids. I didn't even bother to apply make up because I knew Ezra and Aurora both liked me better without it.
