--Chicago's P.O.V--

"In case you have forgotten, Hugo, I'm grounded indefinitely."

My little brother plopped down on my bed beside me along with Caspian. "One, Summer said it was okay and that she wouldn't tell mom and dad, and two, since when has being grounded stopped you from doing anything? I know Garrett sneaks in here every night."

I raised my eyebrows at Hugo. "You have no proof to back up your claim." I propped myself up on my elbows, blowing a strand of hair out of my face. "Why do you guys want to go to the park so bad anyway? You are fourteen and fifteen years old."

Caspian ran a hand through his light brown hair. "Because we are bored out of our minds and we have a chance to get ice cream at the park."

I sighed. "Why don't you guys just go by yourselves?"

"Because you need to get off your lazy bum and go something!" was Hugo's response.

Arguing with my siblings never ended well for me because they always ganged up on me because I was the only girl. My older sister probably didn't miss living with a house full of boys, but the moment she moved out, I became the prime target.

I sighed in defeat, throwing my bare feet over the side of the bed. "Fine, I will go to the park with you guys. Just let me get my shoes on."

Hugo and Caspian let out a cry of glee as they bounded off of my bed and out the door. My red athletic shoes were sitting underneath my desk and I quickly grabbed them, slipping onto my feet, not even bothering to put socks on.

"So," I looked up to see the twins in my doorway, "we heard that you are taking our poor younger brothers to the park." They exchanged a grin. "We would like to attend as well."

I shook my head, tying my hair up into a ponytail. "No way. Caspian and Hugo together are a handful. I can't imagine adding you guys in the mixture. Besides, if you get into trouble, Mom and Dad will see it as my fault and I will be in even more trouble."

"Don't worry, little sister," Noah declared.

"We will be on our best behavior," Jonah promised.

"Like I would believe that," I scoffed. "However, you can come, but please stay out of trouble."

The red heads smiled and slipped back to their room, which caused me to be slightly confused by their behavior. If they caused any problems, I would ditch them without a second thought. I could not afford to get into anymore trouble.

Five minutes later, I stepped out of my room, dressed in a pair of black Nike shorts and a black tank top. This was practically the first time I left my room since I got grounded if you didn't count the bathroom breaks. I couldn't stand to face my parents after the fight we had or rather the fight my dad and I had. The looks they would cast my way was enough to make me want to punch something.

I was not a horrible kid, I just didn't obey my parents rules very often. I wasn't any different than any other sixteen year old, I wasn't any different than my siblings. Somehow, I was singled out and considered the bad child.

When I arrived downstairs, all my siblings looked ready to bounce off the walls at any minute. I turned to Summer. "Are you sure they should have any ice cream? They seem to already be having a mighty big sugar rush."

Our housekeeper waved her hand. "It's fine, Chicago. Let them get hyped up on sugar. It's a nice Saturday outside, very sunny. They deserved to have some fun and so do you, so at least try."

I sighed, hugging Summer goodbye and gestured for all the boys to follow me out the door. They all hopped up and darted out the door. "Be safe!" Summer called.
