The next morning came too quickly. Lauren wished that she could sleep all day never leaving her warm bed. All of a sudden a loud banging on her door really woke her and Normani up.

"Wake up, girls! It's almost noon. You can't sleep the whole day away," Clara, Lauren's mom, hollered. Lauren groaned at her mother's chipper morning attitude.

"Morning, Mani," Lauren said in her usual raspy morning voice.

    "Morning, Lo."

The girls got up and got ready for breakfast that was waiting for them downstairs.

"Good morning girls," Mike greeted happily.

    "Morning, Dad"

    "Morning Papa J."

"How was last night?" Mike asked before sipping his coffee. "You girls better not have drank anything you weren't supposed to. Especially you Lauren," he eyed at his daughter sternly.

The girls looked at each other feeling guilty but had to lie. Well Normani had to since Lauren actually didn't drink anything. Lauren's lips were sealed to save her best friend.

"Of course not, Papa. I've learned my lesson," Lauren assured. "And Normani didn't either."

After breakfast, Normani said her goodbyes to the Jauregui's and went home. Lauren went back up to her room to try and find a way to distract herself from thinking about last night. She didn't want to admit it but she was pretty much heartbroken. Shawn and Camila made out and it was such a disturbing thing to see. Lauren couldn't help but feel jealous of Shawn, she was supposed to have Camila. Not that she was a prize to be won but she was Lauren's crush first and the dancer really wanted to be with her. The emerald-eyed Cuban decided homework would be a good distraction and began working on an English paper. Fifteen minutes later she received a text.

Camila: Hey Laur?

When Lauren read this she was completely in shock. Why was she texting her? She thought Camila didn't care about her. She couldn't help but feel a little angry at the girl although she didn't have a good reason to be. Lauren and Camila weren't dating first of all and second, Camila probably didn't like girls in that way. Lauren mentally slapped herself after realizing that Camila was probably straight and they were just dancing for fun last night. The dancer wanted to be mad at her but it wouldn't make sense for her to be making it unfair to Camila.

Lauren: Hey

Camila: I'm so sorry about last night. I got carried away and drank way too much. Honestly I don't remember anything after you left to go to the bathroom and I took a couple shots. Then I didn't know where you went and everything went blank.

She took shots? And blacked out? Maybe Camila didn't remember her kissing Shawn, Lauren thought.

Lauren: You don't remember anything after I left?

Camila: No. I ended up staying overnight at Connor's house with Dinah cause she was really drunk too. But I don't remember and I'm kinda worried about that.

Lauren was worried too. Shawn didn't tell her they made out? What if they did more than that? Oh, she was gonna get answers from that boy now.

Lauren: Do you remember what you did with Shawn?

Camila: I only remember taking shots with him but after that nothing else.

So he didn't tell her. Lauren was very angry now. If he didn't tell her what they did then it was obviously more than just a make out session. She quickly phoned Shawn expecting him to come clean about what happened. Lauren knew she could get answers out of him, she always has.
