We were on the road again. I tried calling my parents thirteen times, but they never answered. Jax told me they were probably out at the Eiffel tower, and that I shouldn't worry. We have been so hesitant with everything we did.
I waited on a bench as everyone else went in to get McDonald's. I wanted to stay out, in case I actually saw my parents out walking around.
All of a sudden my phone rang. Mom, I was so happy. I answered it.
"Mom! We're in Paris, we came to uhm, visit you! Where are you?! Why haven't you been answering me?"
"You're parents are with us. And I'm right behind you," a man said. Suddenly, many large arms wrapped around me and covered my mouth. They put a bag over my head and threw me into what I assumed was a trunk. I started screaming and trying to open the trunk, but it wouldn't budge. I tried everything, but it was like I was in a metal bulletproof trunk.
"Help!" I tried to scream, but no one would hear me. I started crying, which was stupid because I didn't know how much oxygen I would have in here.
The car stopped. They opened the trunk and carried me forcefully.
"Please," I begged. "Please don't hurt me."
"That should be the least of your worries sweetheart," a voice said angrily.
I stayed silent after that. They didn't even sound familiar or anything. I really hoped Jax would save me.
•••••••••••
"Baby," Jax whispered in my ear.
I had tears rolling down my face full force.
I hugged him tight. The doctors had me on medication I hated so much. I wanted to stop taking it, but Jax wouldn't let me.
"I'm here," he cooed. I gripped his shirt tight, not ever wanting to let go of the only person I trusted and loved more than my parents.
"Jax, I had another nightmare. They took me," I cried like a baby. He scooped me up and carried me to the bathroom, we were in a different hotel. It was a lot nicer than the first one.
He lifted up my shirt and pulled down my pants in a respectful manner.
I was sniffling and rubbing my eyes as he did so. He turned on the water and let it run for a while before taking off my undergarments. He did the same for himself before taking me into the shower with him and laying us down in the tub. He tied my hair in a bun and let the water fall on us. I closed my eyes and lied my head against his chest.
"Avery I have you, no one will hurt you. I'll keep you protected even if it means sacrificing myself. I love you."
I kissed his cheek and scooted closer to him. He wrapped his arms around my chest. I fell asleep in his arms as he rubbed soap all over my body and himself.
"Everything will be alright my love," he kissed my head before pulling me out and getting me wrapped in a towel before taking us back in the room.
"You're so beautiful," he said laying out one of his muscle shirts which still went down to my knees, and shorts. He put my undergarments on me and what he put out.
I curled up to him and wrapped my legs around his waist.
I kissed his lips and thanked him for my shower.
"Anything for you Avery, and for my nostrils," he laughed. i pushed him a little.
"Kidding," he smirked.
"Excuse me?! Michael what are you implying?! You should trust me, I'm you're girlfriend!" Leah was screaming from the top of her lungs.
I got up from Jax. We both walked out of the room and into the main one.
"What's going on?," I asked.
"Michael is trying to imply that I slept with Kacey!!"
I was shocked. Neither of them would ever betray Michael like that. They loved him.
Kacey stood still as a board not knowing how to approach the situation, which worried me.
"Kacey, tell Michael we didn't," Leah said frustrated.
"Leah," Kacey sighed. She shook her head and cried. "It wasn't like that."
"So you did," Michael said looking at the ground.
"Michael we were drunk. It was an accident," she cried.
"Why would you do that?" Michael looked on the verge of tears. I didn't even know Leah did stuff like that. Why would she go behind her boyfriend's back and sleep with his best friend?
"I'm going to the cafeteria," Michael said gripping the hotel key card and walking out of the room. We all looked at each other in shock. Leah started crying.
"When did this happen?"
Kacey looked at me and screamed. "It was my fault. She did it with me to help me get over Courtney. It didn't help, but when it happened, she told me she loved me. She got pissed because I told her I didn't love her. I think she forgot about it, since she was drunk off her ass."
"So you both took advantage of each other," Jax sighed. "We have larger problems to deal with then a love triangle."
I nodded and laced my hand with his. We grabbed our small things and walked out the door.
