*Avery's POV*

I knew something was wrong. I felt it in my gut as soon as I woke up at two in the morning with Jax hooked around me, but trying not to hurt me. I put my hand on my stomach and closed my eyes listening to our heartbeats making a beautiful harmony.

"I'm sorry if I'm already failing you little one. I'm two months into this now, and I still haven't made it official that I will be your mommy. Daddy loves you so much, he tells me that every day. I promise if we get to keep you, we won't let anyone touch you. We'll love you forever," I whispered.

My heart had a bad feeling. I was worried that something was wrong with my baby.

"Jax," I said shaking him. He woke up immediately.

"What's wrong baby girl?" He kissed my head for a fever but there wasn't one.

"There's something wrong with the baby. I feel it inside me."

"You feel it inside you because it's inside you hon. I swear the baby is okay."

"Okay, you're probably right."

I lied on his chest and fell asleep with a sick feeling. I hope she's okay, I really hope its a she. I feel like it's a she.

••

When I woke up, jax was gone. I forgot he worked today. I got out of bed and called Leah.

"Hey?" Leah answered groggily.
"What're you doing?"

"I just woke up, Michael is still sleeping beside me. He slept in my room last night. With everything going on, we remembered we hadn't done anything in three weeks!" I rolled my eyes and laughed.

"Nasty."

"When is the last time you and jax have done anything?"

"His step dad said we couldn't do anything during the pregnancy. Its been two and a half months. He rents porn on the cable box to pull through."

"Uhhh.... Grace and I are going to the mall, do you want to come?"

"Yeah pick me up whenever."

"Sounds good, love you."

"Love you too Leah."

I paced in jax's room waiting for the girls to pick me up.

"Hey, I'm home early babe," he opened the front door, I could hear him taking off his tennis shoes. I smiled and bit my lip, I loved my boy.

"I'm in our room," I shouted. His footsteps echoed off the stairs. He walked into our room and gave me a big smile.

"I love you," he ran up to me and kissed me. I smiled and kissed him softly.

"Avery, we're here! Get your bootay in the car!" Leah's shouting made me jump. I grabbed my sandals and slipped them on.

"Where are you girls going?" Jax took off his shirt, knowing what it would do to me.

"We're going shopping at the mall or something," I shrugged grabbing my phone and purse.

"Well, dinner will be done when you get home," he smiled kissing my cheek.

"What's for dinner?"

He chuckled and leaned back on the bed. "You're looking at it beautiful."

I choked and looked at him trying not to laugh.

"I'll see you when you get back darling."

I ran down stairs and into Grace's car. She sped off without a second look. I held onto my seat for dear life.

"We're going to have so much fun!" Leah was screaming out the car window.

"Where are we going anyways," I asked as Grace was driving deeper into the city.

"To a club," Grace smiled. I shook my head quickly.

"No we can't, we'll get thrown out."

"I don't want to go."

They looked at me and sighed, but kept driving. Soon we were passing the bar and beginning to leave the city. I was confused.

"Where are we going?"

She began driving faster, I started freaking out.

"The part that jax didn't tell you from his plan, is that you're leaving for awhile. He doesn't want you to be in danger anymore."

"What?! No I can't just leave," I started to cry. "What about jax, someone could hurt him."

"He'll be fine, the guys will keep him safe."

I felt my stomach with my hands to calm down my baby and myself.

"Everyone's going to be okay, I promise," Grace said turning to smile at me.

She turned back around, but it was too late. We were doing 360's all over the road. The car that crashed into us left without a second look. I held my stomach and passed out.
