"Where is your boyfriend Avery Karter?" I was tied to a chair with itchy rope, and they had just recently took off my blindfold.
"He's not my boyfriend," I said holding back tears. I screwed that up big time.
"Avery, you had sex while I was at your house," the almighty Jared said. I wanted to punch him in the ball sack. He literally caused all of this.
"Jared I hope you go to hell," I said in my best sweet voice. He smiled and nodded.
"I'll see you there whore."
If I could strangle him at that moment, I would have with my best grip. I wanted to kill him.
"Hello," one of the men said over speaker phone. My heart raced faster, knowing it couldn't have been the FBI.
"Who is this?" I knew that voice. That was the voice that belonged to the boy I will always love.
"How about we have your girlfriend answer that," they laughed cruelly.
"I don't have a g-"
"Jax!" I screamed into the phone they had in my face. I could hear his breath catch in the back of his throat.
"Avery, where are you?" He was rushing his words, I could hear him opening his car door. No questions asked, he would drop everything and find me. I might be a horrible person, but he still cared about me.
"She's with us obviously," Jared laughed. I wanted to kill this kid.
"Jared," Jax said harshly.
"Sup' cuz?" He asked playing it cool.
"We are where you had your first race Jax," and with that they hung up.
"Now I thought you said you weren't together?" Jared asked raising an eyebrow.
"We aren't together, he would always do anything for me though. Once you love someone, you never stop. If Jax were in trouble, I would stop breathing to save him."
"Well we are going to see if he'll die for you once he arrives here," some ugly bald guy said. I fought against my restraints to get to him and kick him in the balls. Jax was not going to die, I will make sure of it.
-Jax's Pov-
Why. I could have just stayed home, and not have gone back to Hawaii to try and get some peace. I tried telling myself this was all a trick to get me to come home and be with her, but once I heard Jared...
"Mom I have to leave again," I sighed walking outside. She was on the porch tanning on a beach chair. She was making the best out of this vacation stating the fact that Dad took us here so he could finish a situation he had with another company through his job. It upset my mother greatly, but she hid it well. I felt so guilty leaving her, but I couldn't just let Avery die. I loved her almost as much as the women that gave birth to me. No matter how bull-headed she could get.
"Are you sure honey?" She lifted her sunglasses and looked up to me. I nodded and enveloped her into a big hug.
"I love you," I said not wanting to let her go. This might be the last time I see my mom. I loved her so much, I'm scared to see what would happen if I did end up dying. I kissed her forehead.
"Jax is everything okay?" She touched my cheek to comfort me. I nodded again.
"I love you Mom."
"I love you Jax. Wherever you're going, be careful alright. Remember to keep your life in mind as well."
It was like she knew why I was leaving. Hm.
