8. Damn Alec

"Hey , you're here . Come in." Alec said as he open the door for me and gesturing me to come inside , he greeted me with his warm smile that he seems to always had on . Most thing I like about him is obviously his delicate smile .

I smile at him and step inside the house . To my pleasure his house smells so nice to my nostrils , the furnitures are white . My favorite . The living room looks so tidy and well placed , the furnitures are white so it makes it look goes along with each others .

He closed the door and I sat down on the couch as I placed down my backpack beside be on the couch . I unzipped my backpack and took my notebook out , it was quite simple project actually we only have to make an essay about genetics .

And you know , wikipedia is always working .

Crap I forgot to bring my mac book what am I gonna use to search materials for the essay ?

It's a simple assignment actually we just have to write an essay about how genetic works and that should be based on what we've learned in class . But if it's only based on what we both have in minds I'm pretty sure we won't be able to write an essay even tho it's just one page .

So yeah wikipedia will definitely helpful as always .

"Sorry but I forgot to bring my macbook." I said to Alec and send him a sorry look . He just shake his head and laugh at me , he walk going inside probably taking his since we can't work on nothing .

Not so long after that he came back with a mac book on his hand , which I can assume that it was him . Since there are several boy-ish stickers on top of it . He placed it down on the table , he sat down beside me as he turn on the mac book .

"Tell me if you need anything , like drinks or if you're hungry." He said looking at me trying to be a nice host . I just chuckle at him and shake my head .

"Nah , I'm fine . Thanks ." I said as he smile at me hearing my answer . The house is pretty quiet as it feels like nobody's home . I guess his parents are out . It was quite awkward because there is just the two of us , as I try not to make the situation more awkward .

"Can I ?" I asked for permission as I was about to use his mac book so we can start to work cause I definitely rather be home on my bed right now . Yeah as lame as it sounds , I'm actually enjoying it .

"Of course." He said laughing even tho I didn't get what's funny about what I said . "Use it all you want it's not like I have a porn site as the homepage."

"Well I'd never know." I said joking as I laugh at him , he just roll his eyes at me but still laughing . I position the mac book to the comfortable position so I could use it .

I open up the browser and start to typing on the search bar on google .

"Oh genetics." Alex said as he eyed the mac book's screen intensively . I chuckled at him , honestly I'm fine with biology but I'm done when it comes to math . It feels like I don't even know what I don't understand , I just can't .

Hopefully I'm not alone on that .

"Yeah so you didn't even know what our subjects about." I said chuckling at him as he just shrug .

"Well you know not my thing." He said chuckling at the end and I just rolled my eyes at him playfully .

"Oh look I think this is important." I said pointing at the mac's screen , it was just some kind of information about genetics that I think we should put in our paper , so I asked Alec what he thinks because well this is our project together .
