Chapter 27

Areum POV

"Wake up!" I heard a distant yell from my ear.

"Aish, five more minutes." I said waving them off to Neverland.

"Jungkook will be here any minute, now."

WHAT

I rose up and rubbed my eyes looking at my glorious (Hint Hint, some sarcasm) brother. 

I checked the clock.

"Really?! It's 7:33 and you're waking me up ON A WEEKEND?!" I maybe, sort of, shouted.

"Don't make me call your squad on you." He smiled cheekily.

"What is it you exactly want, oppa?" I said, frustrated.

"I want you to go out and have fun, sis. Now get up because I'm calling some people in."

 "Okay." I respond and push him out of the room.

I quickly grab my phone, calling my friends.

"Do y'all have anything to do today?" I ask Karen and Melanie.

"I was going to go with the Hope and Tae today on a walk or something." Karen replied.

"Really? Yeah, Tae told me the same!" Melanie said, excited.

"Can I join? Jimin's kicking me out for the day, no fair." I say, sounding sad.

"Of COURSE you can!!" They both respond at the same time. 

"Yay~ I'll see you two later then. Bye!~" I said happily and excited.

I go into the messages and see a text from Kookie.

Kookie<3: Heyy Areum! Wanna do something later?

I get butterflies in my stomach. 

I haven't answered back when he confessed and I can't help but feel a little guilty.

Me: Sure. :) Where do you wanna meet up? Imma be going with Melanie and Karen rn.

I start to get ready and go downstairs.

Kookie<3: Ice cream shop by the park? (: 

I respond quickly while smiling.

Me: Yay~ can't wait! See you later :)

Kookie<3: Same.(: Have fun sweetie!

I giggle at his cute name for me and sit down to grab some food.

"How's my cutie today?" Jimin Oppa sits by me.

"Great." I smile. "Before you woke me up." I mumbled.

"You'll thank me later for it." He winks and I laugh before leaving and give him a goodbye hug. 

"See ya!" I shout and close the door.

I walk to Melanie's and knock on the door.

Immediately, Karen pulls me in and gives me a hug.

"You ready to go?" She squeals happily.

"Yessss. Are you ready?" I say dancing a little happy dance.

They giggle and respond with yeah and go out of the house.

"Hey you guys!" I say to Tae and J-Hope.

Tae hugs us all before going to Melanie and putting his - ARM around her.

I widen my eyes.

J-Hope laughs and hugs Karen before walking hand in hand.

What is going onnnnnnn ? 

I am still confused until my confuseness turns into a big smile.

"COUPLE GOALS, COUPLE GOALS." I scream at the top of my lungs before poking at their sides and they laugh.

 We walk around for a while before going back and eating for a while.

"So," Melanie starts a conversation, "how's you and Jungkook?" She asks. 

I smile sheepishly.

"Going good." I respond but I don't know anymore.

I check the time and it's 5:30.

"Talking about him, I got to go see him." I smile and Mel and Karen instantly smile very widely.

"You go have fun!" They say before I laugh and leave them alone.

"No PDA, you couples!" I say behind my back.

They all laughed nervously and I laughed at their awkwardness.

I get home, feeling somewhat tired, more than usual.

I still have some energy to go, so I quickly went to the ice cream shop, not too far from here.

I feel as if a pair of eyes watching me, but see no one when I turn around.

Suddenly, someone pops out.

"BOO!" The guy yells and I scream at the top of my lungs punching his gut.

"Areum! It's me Jungkook!" Jungkook says before catching his breath.

Oh god. 

I help him up. 

"Goodness gracious, you scared my soul out of me." I said and he chuckled while still catching his air.

"Now I know to not scare you." He laughs and I giggle.

"Let's go, yeah?" He asks opening the door of the shop. 

Once we order, we go outside and go to the park.

"Areum?" He says.

"Yeah?" I respond.

"You know that I like you right? Since forever. You have had such a great impact on me ever since I met you." He has his chocolate eyes on mine.

I smile and blush a little since I don't really know what to say to him. My thoughts were erupted once I feel a cold chill and I shiver.

Oh god not now, energy, come back I tell you!

I go into his warming embrace and he saw the shiver and gave me his jacket.

"No it's okay." I said to him, giving it to him.

"Nope. wear it." He says seriously.

"Ugh. Fine whatevaa." I giggle.

But then I lose the ability to touch. My energy is drained and I feel as if everything in my body just shut down altogether.

"J-Jungkook..." I fall and my conscience goes away, bit by bit until I see nothing but black and my mind shutting down.
