I can't believe this happened to my life. I won't ever let her go. Not. Ever.
I love her way too much and I will fight for her.
I breath into my hands, while trying to gain warmth.
As you guessed it, I'm out back in the community garden, thinking about everything.
Why couldn't she tell me sooner, AHH.
I mess my hair up in frustration.
Just thinking about it brought my eyes to well up in tears.
24 Hours Ago
"Areum, you'll get through this I promise." A tear escapes my eyes while I'm holding in to her hand.
*15 minutes later*
"Make way for the patient!" A nurse pulls Areum to the hallway.
I push myself towards Areum.
"You cannot be in the room while we are checking on her."
"You don't understand -"
"Go wait in the wait room while we check on her." The nurse says, rudely.
I huff and leave them alone while sitting by myself, waiting for time to move quickly.
Once I called Jimin I rested in my seat.
There is no way I will leave her here alone.
I drifted on to reading and read a magazine, not really reading, while waiting for the doctor.
"Hey kook!" I heard a distinct voice coming from behind me.
"Hey." I responded sadly.
"How is she? What happened?" Jimin says, worriedly.
"She passed out and I don't know, they won't tell me."
"Family of Park Areum?" I heard a doctor say.
"That's us." We walk over, anxiously waiting on his next words.
"What's wrong with her?" Jimin and I said in unison.
"I don't know if she has told you yet, but she has a brain tumor and it's rapidly increasing. If we don't operate her, she might have a less chance on surviving."
At that moment, I couldn't handle anything. My soulmate, the one I look up to when I'm sad, happy, excited has a sickness and she kept it in all this time.
She is everything to me and I can't risk losing her.
Tears covered my face before I knew it.
Jimin was at the verge of tears until he turned around and sat down.
He led me over and patted my back.
"Do you love her, bro?"
"Of course I do, it breaks my heart knowing this. I c-can't live without her.." I broke down.
She broke me.
