I've seemed to be smiling since I woke up this morning, even though in the back of my mind I was thinking of something else. I shook my head of my wandering thoughts and kept walking. Mikey ran up behind me unexpectedly and poked my side, causing me to jump from the sudden action.

He held back a laugh before speaking, "Look what I found!"

I looked down at the lemon cream pie in his hands. I smiled and nodded my head in approval, starting toward the cash register. As I turned the corner I stopped in my tracks and quickly pulled Mikey back into the aisle. I peeked around the corner this time to watch Bob and Frank buying something. Frank turned in my direction and I quickly moved out of sight. I watched them quietly as they left the super market.

"What could they have been doing here?"

I looked back at Mikey, "Who cares, at least they didn't see us."

He nodded and shrugged, "True."

We headed for the cash register and bought our pie before heading out the front entrance toward our bus parked across the street. As I hopped onto the bus I noticed Gerard sitting on the couch reading a magazine. He had been quiet lately and I could only imagine it was because of this prank war. He was the silent bystander just waiting for the final outcome. Which if all went according to plan, would be very soon.

"Hey best friend," I smiled over at him.

"Hello Sugar," He smiled back.

I ruffed his hair and he looked up at me with a pointed glare.

"You know Gee your hair is getting quite long."

"What are you trying to say?" He eyed me up.

"Maybe you should get a hair cut," I said with a slight smirk.

He shook his head, "I don't think so."

"Oh, come on," I teased him. "Maybe you could actually get a date!"

He held his glare, but he knew I was only joking, "I could get a date if I wanted to!"

I laughed at him sarcastically, "Okay, sure you could."

He rolled his eyes and went back to reading his magazine without another word.

"But really Gee you should get a hair cut," I said seriously.

He turned the magazine sideways inspecting the page like it was the most interesting thing in the world, not even bothering to look at me, "Yeah, maybe next week."

I smiled happily and sat down, making some small talk before heading into the bunk area. I skipped into the back room to find Mikey opening the pie. I watched him quietly for a minute before taking a seat next to him.

"Gerard tells me Bob is in the venue somewhere," He glanced over at me.

I nodded, "With all those back hallways it's going to be hard to find him."

He faced me with a grin, "Let's do it."

We stood and walked back to the front of the bus. We headed straight into the venue and walked to the back stage area. There were maybe four or five hallways that all connected in some way, so Bob would have to be walking down one of them. We started moving quietly down one of the hallways trying to hold in our laughs as we continued to search for our friend.

We weaved our way through each hall double back multiple times, but there was still no sign of Bob or Frank. I was about to give up when we turned the corner down a hallway at the same time as Bob and Frank did. Mikey hid the pie behind his back just before they could see it; Bob hiding something behind him as well. What could it be?

I whispered to Mikey, "Alright. Just run for it."

He nodded and then bolted towards Bob. I jogged after him, noticing Bob running straight for him too. As they met in the middle everything grew quiet... still, like someone had just died. Frank and I finally made it to them, trying not to laugh at the scene that had unfolded in front of us.

Mikey and Bob stood there both with cream pie dripping down their faces. I laughed, and when I say laughed I mean I was on the ground in pain with tears in my eyes. Frank couldn't help but crack up a few moments after.

I stood, trying to compose myself, gripping my knees as I heaved a deep breath, "Who would have thought we'd have the same idea!"

Frank laughed and walked over to me, "This is too good!"

My boyfriend and I stood next to each other in the vacant hallway as Bob and Mikey stood a few feet away looking like complete idiots.

"This sucks," Mikey spoke quietly.

"You're telling me," Bob answered.

With that they turned and walked down the hallway to clean off their faces, shame all over their faces. Frank and I couldn't help but crack up again and fall on the ground in a fit of laughter. The war was officially over, but couldn't have ended any better than it did.
