Laurels P.O.V

I awoke to the sound of a door opening and someone walking around the room. I opened my eyes to be met by a girl who looked to be the same age as me, she had blue eyes and blond hair. She looked so heartbroken I couldn't help but stand up and walk over to her and give her a hug.

"Why are you so sad?" I asked he as I make her sit on the bed I awoke up on.

"I found my mate a month ago but he is being forced to marry and mate with another she-wolf the week." She said and that's when I realised that I was the other she-wolf.

"I'm so sorry to hear about that but what is your name?" I asked the young girl.

"My name is Chanel but people normally call me number two." she said looking down at her hand in her lap.

"Why do they call you that?" I asked.

"Well its quit simple I'm like the second slave/punching bag." She whispered the last part. I could feel my blood boiling inside of me. I was brought out of my thought when a young man walked into the room.

I noticed his eyes were glued on Chanel. I cleared my throat and his eyes snapped to me. I couldn't help but think that I just meet Chanel's mate. He started to walk towards me with a pained expression.

"I think I should be leaving now. It was nice meeting you laurel." Chanel said standing up and walking over to the door only to be stopped by the man. "Axle let me go! You know we can't be together." She had tears in her eyes as she said the last word.

"Just listen to me, I have a plan but I need the help of the Black wolf." He said looking over to me I nodded indicating for him to carry on. "I don't want to become alpha so I plan on leaving and you are coming with me." Axel said but I knew there was more to come. "When we leave I want to join your pack."

"I will accept you into my pack but first I need to get in contact with my mate." I said as I stood up and walked over to both of them.

"You can use my phone to ring him." He said handing me a space grey iPhone SE, I took it and walked into the bathroom.

I dialled Chase's number and the phone started to ring not a second later he answered.

"Hello who is this and how have you got my number." I heard the wonderful voice of my mate say.

"Calm down hulk its laurel, okay so I have made an alliance with the alphas son." I said thinking of a way out.

"How can you be sure you can trust them?" he said sounding doubtful.

"HE don't want to mate with me; He has found his mate and she is wonderful." I said as the memories of the first time I talked to Chanel and Axel. "I have a plan but I need you to get the female wolfs out that will be joining our pack before the war starts."

He sighed before saying "Fine but I need you to promise me that whatever happens you will not put yourself in harm's way." I could tell he was nervous.

"I promise I will text you with all the details." And with that I hung up the phone and walked out of the bathroom and saw two very nervous looking mates. "okay I have made arrangements for female wolf that do not wish to stay here to join my pack. they will leave tomorrow so go pack and tell the others." I said to the new members of the pack.
