Jade P.O.V

"So any lovers in your life?" I ask my brother Leon, walking into the kitchen making some popcorn.

"Theres this blonde chick I met the other day, I met her at the club" Leon said scratching his head. I put in the popcorn and set it for two minutes, like the packet told me to do

"And? Tell me more." I ask curiously, wondering to see who my brother is hooking up with. Its about time he needs a new girlfriend

The microwave beeped, letting me know that the popcorn was done. I put the popcorn in a bowl and made our way to the lounge room

"She is a good grinder." Leon says, taking a seat next to rose carefully.

I see Vince's arm hanging across roses neck. Rose looks very uncomfortable, trying to wiggle her way out of his grasp, but his too strong. My face turns hot and rises with anger.

"Rose, I need help with something, come with me." I say, as Vince lets go of her and she scrambles away. She looks at me, at the brink of tears and I quickly pull her to me.

"Thank you." She silently sobs into my chest. I feel sorry for the things she's been through. Vince is an asshole for what he did

"Rose pulls away and quickly wipes her tears with the hem of her shirt

"He is just a dickhead, stay away from him." I say as she slowly breaths in and out, nodding her head

I put my arm around her neck and lead her back to the lounge room. I give him a glare before sitting down onto the floor, away from Vince.

"What's wrong Jade?" I hear Vince say. I know his smirking even though I'm not looking at him. I do not respond to him and continue watching the movie

"Not going to answer?" He once again says. I turn around to see him smirking, Leon has moved away from Vince, sitting on the other side of the lounge.

"Jesus Christ Vince! You know what your doing!" I angrily yell and storm out the room, not thinking about Rose still being in there with Vince. Leon's in there, she'll be fine. I pull out a chair from the dinning table and sit down, Putting my head in my hands. Why does he have to pretend to be oblivious.

"Jade? Are you okay?" Hearing Jesses voice from the dinning room door. I look up to see him looking concerned at me.

"No, I'm not." I snap a bit angrily. He looks down and grabs my hand, squeezing it slightly

"I have a bit of a head ache." I say, rubbing my head with my hand

"I have panadol in my room, come with me." He says, leading me up the stairs, laying me onto his bed.

"I'll be back with some water." He says, leaving the room. I lay on his soft bed, the smell of his cologne lingering through his pillow. I breath in and out, slowly relieving the pain from my head. I hear the door open, Jesse again. I leave my eyes closed as I feel a dip in the side of the bed. A warm hand latches onto mine, as my breath hitches a bit. I open my eyes, revealing a Jesse hovering over me with a glass of water and some panadol.

"Umm, here." He says, slightly stuttering. I take the water in his hand and down the two tablets. I hear Leon's voice through the door, progressing louder by the second. I then hear Roses voice, screaming at him. What are they fighting about? I wonder. Jesse seems to notice and he quickly opens the door, revealing Leon and Rose screaming at each other
