Chapter Thirty-Four - Practice

Mackenzie's POV

"Alight, girls! I want you all in here tomorrow by six in the morning, so we can perfect the dance! Competition is tomorrow, and I want a clean sweep." Abby informed us.

We all sleepily nodded our heads.

"Okay, then you're dismissed."

Everyone filed out of the studio, ready to leave, and as soon as I got home, I fell right to sleep.

{The Next Morning}

I awoke to the noise of my alarm clock.

Groaning, I turned it off, changing into my dance wear.

I rushed downstairs, as I quickly ate cereal, then began stretching.

By the time I was done, it was time to leave for ALDC.

Just as soon as we arrived, at the studio, it was six in the morning.

I rushed into the lobby, greeting the other dancers.

"Girls, come into Studio A! I need you to perfect the group, and Mackenzie, I need you to sell your solo to the crowd."

We all nodded our heads, as we filed into Studio A.

We stood in our starting positions as Abby began to play the music.

I swung my arms back and forth as I ran forward, going onto relevé, then rolling down to the ground.

After which, I did a toe-rise into a backbend, then kick over.

The rest of the dance went smoothly, with practically no flaws.

This dance was a winning number, with all the emotion.
