Chapter 18 

*A few weeks later*

"Sonam, dad wants to talk to you." Says Nick approaching her. 

She nods and walks in to his room. 

"Daddy..." 

"S..Sonu...come here love." 

"Hey dad." She says holding his hand as tears roll off her cheeks. 

"Honey....I am so proud of you...you are a strong woman and remember I love you more than Nick." He says whispering as he chuckles at his last sentence. 

"Oh daddy! I love you too! Please stay with us." Cries out Sonam. 

"Honey....just promise me something..." 

"Anything daddy..." 

"Find happiness...marry the one you love...don't run away from Sam.." 

"Oh...dad.....I..um.." 

"Honey...please...he is the one for you..." 

"Sure dad, I promise." Says Sonam and gives him a kiss on his forehead. 

"Now go and call your mother." 

"Sure daddy.....I love you." She says blowing a kiss and walks out of the room. 

"Mom...Dad wants you." 

"Thanks love." Says Seema and walks in. 

*The next day*

"Sam, are you busy?" says Sonam over the phone. 

"No Sonu, I am at the site, what is it?" 

"I need you..umm daddy...." Sniffs Sonam. 

"I'm coming Sonu." He says and rushes towards his car.
