16 Mered: Tell Me Everything

While behind the corridor of the 5th floor, I'm watching Jeffrey squash someone under his feet.

I don't even know this person.

White hair and brown eyes? Who could that be?

Another specie?

Possibly.

A blue light glows from him and Jeffrey is thrown to the side of the wall.

He's unconscious.

I run and check on this person. His eyes are half open but there is a bruise on his chest and arm. Something's familiar though.

His arm is scrawny and has veins protruding out of his skin.

Just like Lucas.

But it can't be Lucas.
Lucas doesn't have white hair.

"Hey, are you okay."

The guy looks up at me, but gives no response.

"Are you alright. Give me an answer."

He coughs before responding.

"Why should I? You never gave me a response when I helped you at school.".

My mind flashes back. Is this Lucas? It can't be. This person doesn't look like him.

"But I don't even know you?"

He lifts out his arm.

"Really?"

"Your arms are skinny just like his-"

"I know that, Mered."

"How do you know my name?"

"Are you really that dense?"

Wait. He's skinny, rude, and knows my name!

"Oh wait, Lucas, is it you?"

"Yeah, but I have a lot to-"

"Are you alright?! You look like you need to see a doctor. And why do you have white hair, and are in that costume? Look, you have to tell me everything!"

"Ughh, would you just let me explain?"

I silence and help him up before he explains.

"You may not notice but as a specie, you need a changed form to be able to fight heavy battles. But that is only if your experienced with this. I got mine early."

"That's explains the white hair and the black tight suit?

"Yeah, pretty much. Did you not understand what I was trying to say?"

"Yeah okay. So, when do I get mine?"

"Your nowhere near close to getting yours."

"Why? I'm an experienced specie. Been one my entire life."

"Have you been fighting police and other people your entire life?"

His words hurt. I'm not experienced? I have to fight in many battles in order to get my changed form. So it's Lucas and Jeffrey who are experienced fighters.

Lucas tries to get up and walk but stumbles along the corridor. He says a "thanks " as he enters the elevator.

Well, that was weird. But I'm happy. At least he told me everything.

...

Well,  not yet. I still need to know what Jeffrey and Lucas where talking about.
