"Talking to you makes my day"

Barry was early for dinner, luckily, Caitlin was ok with him being early. Natalie was watching Sofia the First on Caitlin's phone as she waited for the food to be done. Natalie barely even acknowledged Barry, she was too consumed in the world of Disney princesses, that and she had headphones on.

"I'm guessing it didn't go well with Joe," Caitlin noticed Barry's mood changed.

"He practically ordered me to break up with you just to make Iris happy," Barry mumbled "but, to be very clear, that's never going to happen," Barry clarified, going back to his normal voice.

"So what did you tell him?" Caitlin asked in a calming voice.

"I told him I was moving out," Barry sighed.

"Just move in here," Caitlin smiled.

"Really?" Barry had a slight smile on his face.

Caitlin nodded. An alarm went off signaling that whatever Caitlin was cooking was done. She took a pot off the stove and then prepped the pasta to be eaten. Barry saw that Natalie was unaware of the alarm so he tapped her on the shoulder and took one earbud out.

"Sweetie, it's time to put that away. Dinner is done," Barry informed her.

Natalie paused her episode and then set the phone down on the island. Everyone sat down at the table. Caitlin served Natalie, then Barry, then herself. Natalie was obviously pleased with the dinner choice.

"Yes! We having cheesy noodles!" Natalie squeaked.

"Cheesy noodles?" Barry asked.

"It's pretty much mac and cheese," Caitlin explained.

The three dug in. Barry was expecting mac and cheese, but he got something more delectable, more cheesy. He was in heaven.

"I thought you said this was mac and cheese," Barry said with his mouthful.

"Normally I have to tell her to chew before talking and now I have to say it to my fiancee. Unbelieveable," Caitlin giggled.

Barry swallowed and then gave a sorry smile. This dinner had made him forget everything with Joe. Right at that moment was when Barry knew for sure that he was with his family.

"Sofia met Ariel today," Natalie smiled.

"No way!" Barry and Caitlin said in sync.

"I wanna meet Ariel," Natalie said.

"One day," Caitlin half smiled.

When dinner was done Barry offered to clean up since he could do it in under a minute. Caitlin didn't want to argue, so she sat down with Natalie and helped her set up a game of go fish. Barry was done with everything, including the dishes, in a flash. (Pun intended)

The whole family sat on the living room floor with cards in their hands ready to play go fish. They played a few rounds, Natalie one twice, Barry once, and Caitlin never won. Caitlin swore she would get her revenge.

The two tucked Natalie into bed after Barry read her a bedtime story and checked under her bed and in her closet for monsters.

"For Natalie's third birthday we should go to Disneyworld," Barry suggested.

"Yes! She could meet Ariel and Sofia and get those sparkly Minnie ears and we could get Minnie and Mickey ears together!" Caitlin daydreamed.

"You're adorable, you know that right?" Barry pulled her in for a hug.

"We should watch a movie then go to bed," Caitlin suggested.

"Monsters Inc?" Barry asked with a smile.

Caitlin nodded and put in the disc while Barry made the popcorn. They watched the movie together. Caitlin was leaning in on Barry's shoulder while he held her tightly. It was just like old times.

Barry was getting ready for bed since he was staying the night at Caitlin's, obviously, when Joe called. He rolled his eyes, but he knew he had to answer it.

"What?" Barry asked in an annoyed tone.

"Are you coming home?" Joe asked.

"No. Why?"

"Just curious."

"I'm going to start packing up everything tomorrow, I'll probably finish, you know with the speed and all."

"Oh. Well, goodnight."

Barry hung up. Joe had seemed very different in that call, it was as if he was sorry. Barry shrugged it off and climbed into bed.

Barry was half asleep when Caitlin climbed into bed with him. Barry flipped over so he was facing her back and pulled her closer into a spooning position. She grabbed his hand and held it until she was too tired to keep it in that position. They both knew this would be one of the best night of sleep they've ever had.
