Natasha's POV

I reached my apartment in no time, since it's just few minutes away from the hospital. Turning back the lights to life before throwing my bag at the couch and keys at island bar. There's no single second to spend a moment here, quickly running upstairs. Slamming my door, I didn't mean it to be that loud. Casting my eyes at the familiar room I had. It was left unused for quite some times for now, because we all know I'm staying at the hospital. Leaving her was something I never wanted to do.

A creaking sound of my closet winding in my very quiet and unshaken room. Rummaging any presentable clothes to wear. I took out the most comfortable shirt and jeans I had. Then I washed myself for a second time today, the water were cold but it wasn't enough to wake up my little sleepy nerves, the way it sends chillness down my spine makes myself relax for a second.

Kate and Miles were right, I haven't had enough stress free moment for a while, maybe that's a main reason I love the cold water embracing my body for now. It's not soon until I found myself jumping out at the tub and wrapped the white towel over my skin.

I made my usual night routine before dressing down, although my body were very tired, I can't let myself resting here.

Ok, stop forcing. Maybe it's not that bad if I take a little nap before driving away again. I didn't mind if my tidy clothes wrinkled as I let my back fall slowly at the mattress.

Feeling the warm and soft cotton at my back soothing my haggard skin. I watch the clock at my side table and its already one a.m. in the morning. The day gone long and it's very slow especially without Alexandra's presence. I decided to close my eyes and let the heaviness freed in my head. Shutting my eyes in harmony, as if everything bad had just happened was just a nightmare, hoping when I wake up everything will be fine as it is before. Just give me a ten minutes nap and I'll swerved back to reality for another time.

~~~~~~~~••••••••~~~~~~~~
Yawning so hard, stretching both of my arms widely. My eyes were still bit bleary. Thanks for that little nap, I guess all the weariedness was now filled with so much energy. I let the dazzling rays of sun shone over my face, I smiled and said to myself "What a beautiful lights of nature."
My half way vision grown wide when I mentioned a word sun.
Did I just saw a light?
Snapping my head to my window as I saw that the orange flaming ball outside my window was shining brightly. I jumped out of bed vigorously. I fell asleep in a very long hour. What kind of ten minutes nap I had that lasted for a very super long and long as in longer than the longest hour?
What the fuck Natasha?
Busting my butt to the bed side table and took my phone. Another bolt out of the blue surprised me when I read a fifteen missed calls from Kate last night. Oh no! What if something bad had happened. I shook my head in disagreement, now is not the right time for negative thoughts. My hands fumble as I slowly putting Kate's number on a dialing screen. Pressing the call button nervously. A couple of rings entered my ears, as a mantra escaped in my lips "C'mon, picked it up. Please." But the tune has ended.
There's no Kate answered the phone but a voicemail 'Hey this is Kate, I'm busy right now. Drop your message please.'
Urgh! Why I haven't heard my phone ringing last night when she's calling. Most of all what happened to my ten minutes time lapse nap, I ended up sleeping.
I tried again, typing her number and press the green button much faster this time. A couple of rings happened again and--- "Hey Natasha, where the hell are you?" Kate's voice splashed on my ear drums. I couldn't tell if she's into something or what.
